Chapter 1

"Good day sir, we're supposed to be at St. Patrick's Cathedral by 5:45 PM."

"Noted Benjamin, tell JP I, Johnny and Nathan are headed to the hotel, thanks for calling."

"Anytime sir, I'll see you later."

"Sure."

"Alright guys, we've got to get back to the hotel, it's already 4:30."

"Copy that boss, this will be one of the best marriages of my lifetime."

Shanny, Johnny and Nathan stepped out of the coffee shop in downtown New York, it was just lest than a week since New Year's eve and celebrated it there as well. The three officers were now waiting for Shanny's driver to pick them up from the shop, as Shanny didn't like to use public transportation for security reasons not unless if he really has to. They then arrived at the hotel, Zoe and the bridesmaids where in another room 3 floors below the room of the groom's men. The groom himself is at the hotel's lobby, waiting for his boss and friends who went out for some coffee and fifteen minutes later, the trio arrived at the hotel. 

"Today is your big day man don't screw this up, we've got your back." 

"I'll try my best as this boss, it's even more exciting than my promotions at work."

"It's exactly on your facial expression sir, you always feel more happy when around with Zoe."

While Shanny was in his room dressing up for the occasion, Vice Admiral Kyle Lesley of the 5th fleet called.

"Vice Admiral Lesley on the phone boss."

"Ight give to me Benjamin."

"Here you are sir."

"Thank you."

"General Salvador on the line how may I help you?"

"Ah, this is Kyle, how's life been lately?"

"Not much, I've got personal problems with my staff, nothing serious."

"Nothing serious? Man how do you even keep up your humor only to know you've been through hell for years."

"I don't know. They're treating me like a complete idiot and I can't keep up with shit."

"Well, my fleet is heading back at Florida, We'll talk as soon as I get down from my ship."

"You're the best man, how I wish to find a good person to take over if something happens."

"Don't say something like that, you're one of the best guys in the army."

"Thanks man, I knew I can count on you from the very beginning."

"Anytime bruv, anytime. I'll see you soon."

*Call ends.*

"What was that sir?"

"I've been in a massive feud with JP and most of my staff since our arrival from South Korea, once we get back I'm replacing them all but for you and Father Looney."

"It's been clearly visible sir, you trust Father Dave more than you trust Jazmine."

"Let's get this over with, once JP's sharpshooter regiment is fixed, I'm giving the Joint Chiefs of Staff to Angelo."

After preparing for almost an hour, they then went to the Cathedral which was already full of the family of the bride and groom, representatives from each branch of the military and a select number of British personnel. The groom's team was the last team to arrive before the bridal car carrying the bride herself and the bridesmaids. JP went ahead entering the Cathedral while Shanny, Johnny and Nathan had a talk with a few bystanders before entering.
