Two Worlds Collide (Titanfall x Darling in the Franxx)

Distress Call

Slone awoke to glowing red eyes peering through the darkness.

"oh, shit!" Instinctively she swung out in self-defense, catching the startled (y/n) right in the cheek, sending him sprawling on the cave floor.

"Ngh.. what did you do that for!"

"Oh, (y/n) it's you..." Slone breathed a sigh of relief

(y/n), though averse to her violent reaction, was actually a little happy that she seemed to relax when she realized it was just him.

"Wait a minute, (y/n) your eyes are glowing, and not just that, your horns are glowing too!"

"Oh, Really? must've been a result of the conversion." (Y/n) said as he curiously poked the tip of his now fully grown horns

"the conversion?? what do you mean?" She replied incredulously.

"It's complicated but long story short, I'm now half -klaxosaur half-human. Or, well I guess a little bit more klaxosaur than human now." He said with a small chuckle as he scratched his head.

"That's more or less a correct summary, human" a new voice entered the conversation.

Slone turned her head to see a door open, and out stepped a little girl, with 8 tentacles. As much as that put Slone off, even more, frightening than that was the two massive serpent-like forms that flanked her sides. 

"Uh, (y/n)..."

"Oh don't worry Slone, she's joining our little alliance. Or... we're joining her? Either way works. Anyways, she is the last Klaxo-Sapien, she's been controlling the klaxosaurs for thousands of years." (y/n) explained.

"So...," Slone stared at the girl before her, trying not to notice the two giant snack heads that flanked on both sides of the room. "Um... What should I call you?"

"I have no name." 

(y/n) crossed his arms and thought for a second before his eyes lit up.

"How about... Ayda?"

Slone looked at (y/n) in complete shock. 

"What are you doing?! you think she would want a human name?"

"Why have you chosen this name for me, human?"

"I just looked at you and thought Ayda sounds like a cute name for you. hmm... Queen Ayda sounds good too."

"Cu-..." The queen turned away from (y/n) for a second before seemingly making a decision, causing Slone's jaw to drop even further

Is she BLUSHING??

"Queen Ayda?... Fine. I'll accept the name you chose for me, human."

Slone looked back at the girl who's name was Queen Ayda now, the look of shock persisted.

"Oh right, I should fill you in." (y/n) proceeded to explain their current situation to Slone who sat and listened as best as she could. 

"So... to sum it up, we need to work together to destroy the VIRM."

"Yes." the klaxosaur girl nodded.

"I see," Slone sighed.

Things had become more complicated again.

"So," Slone asked, "What happens now?"

"Return to the surface. From there you must contact your allies and bring aid as soon as possible." The queen replied, "After you have finished that return to me."

As Slone and (y/n) turned to leave the Queen's chamber, the klaxosapien queen, now known as Ayda, contacted (y/n) mentally.

"Human. Now that I have stabilized your mutation, We can communicate this way over any distance. If you are ever in danger, tell me. We cannot afford to lose you."
