I could feel the tension build up every second I sat there. Maybe it's just paranoia, Vic probably didn't hear you, I tried to calm myself down. Yet the paranoia built up, whether or not Vic heard it, but still I said it. What if everyone heard it? No they wouldn't just blow it off like that... thoughts still flood my head, and making my stomach feel horrible.
After about five minutes I stood up and declared that I was hungry. I walked out of the "Chill Room" and into the kitchen. I took out bread, turkey, cheese, and other things to make a sandwich. I was so happy to be out of that room, without Vic's beautiful eyes staring at me in shock.
I sat down and turned on the TV and soon I heard everyone leave the room and go on to do their own thing.
Vic opened the door into the kitchen and sat across from me.
"Hime, we should probably talk," he said. Shit.
"About what, the crappy shows that are on now?" I joked flipping through the channels, desperatly trying to change the subject.
"No I'm pretty sure you know what I want to talk about..." He said, his hair falling in front of his face, following along with his eyes which slowly fell down to the floor. He played with his thumbs. Vic always did this when he was nervous.
"I can't read minds," I said, still trying to avoid the talk about what I said earlier.
"Jaime, you can't read minds but I'm 100% sure you know what I am talking about so stop avoiding the subject," Vic whispered harshly, but sweet at the same time.
"Fine I'll stop pretending."
"Thank you, now will you explain why you said my name when I asked you who was cutest?" Vic asked calmly, still playing with his thumbs and avoiding eye contact.
"It was a joke," I lied, still flipping through channels. Vic looked up at me and grabbed the remote from my hands within a blink of an eye. He looked at me seriously.
"What?" I asked, "I was joking. A j-o-k-e."
"I know what a joke is Jaime, and I also know what a lie is," Vic replied.
"For fucks sake, I'm not lying."
"We've been friends for years, I know the difference between you lying and joking."
"Fine you caught me, but can you blame me? You're so perfect and I think everything about you is adorable. I don't want to admit it but you're forcing me to; causing us to most likely end our friendship," I ranted quickly.
"Jaime, just stop!" Vic said, getting up from his chair.
"Stop what?"
"Please just move on from me, we can't deal with this, we're just going to be friends," he stated, not giving me an option.
"Great now it's going to be awkward," I sighed.
"No, it's only awkward if you make it awkward..." Vic whispered.
"You basically forced me to make it awkward," I argued.
"Are you fucking kidding?" He asked, realizing I sparked the fight back up.
"Am I kidding? No Vic, I'm not kidding. You forced me to sit here and admit my feelings when we could of just moved on. And that's not it, you basically just tell me to forget my feelings for you and no Vic." I yelled, but not too loud, I didn't want the others to hear.
"Jaim-" he began.
"No Vic, like you said, without you there is no me," I said sounding like a teenage drama queen. Did I really just quote one of our own songs?
"Did you really just quote one of our songs?" He basically read my mind. "Jaime those lyrics weren't written for you, please just.. stop!" Vic screamed, wiping his eyes which had tears.
"You keep telling me to stop, what do you want me to stop?" I asked, confused.
"Stop making me love you," he quietly said, falling into my arms, sobbing.
A/N: Sorry this chapter was mostly dialouge and awkward. I hope you enjoyed the little plot twist at the end ~ c:
