There I was sitting, with Vic crying into my chest. I had my arms wrapped around him. I couldn't help but smile at what he said. Wait don't smile he might think you're laughing, I thought. I really don't want to mess this up.

"I'm sorry.. I guess," I awkwardly made out a few minutes later. There was no response, just Vic crying his little heart out, staining my shirt with his tears.

I lifted up his head and made eye contact with his red eyes, still producing tears.

"Why are you so sad about this?" I asked, clueless.

"Jaime, I just can't be gay. Everybody will hate me, and I have Caroline. I love Caroline, but not the way I love you," Vic said, breaking eye contact right after the end of his sentence.

"You don't have to love me..." I began.

"But I want to," he choked out through his tears.

Leaving me speechless, I pulled him back into a hug and combed my fingers in his tangled hair.

"It'll be alright Vic," I said, before Caroline burst through the door.

"Vic? Vic! Are you okay?" she said running over. Vic lifted up his head and nodded his head, and made up a lie that his dog died, even though he never had a dog. It reminded me of the interview where he said 'How do I hold a puppy, I've never held one in my life,' god was he adorable.

"Can Jaime and I talk?" Vic asked Caroline. Caroline nodded understanding, hugging him and walking out of the room.

After Caroline left, Vic laid across the couch, his head in my lap. He looked up at me, "Hime, what are going to do?"

"I don't know what you're implying," I smiled, knowing exactly what he was implying.

"I want to be your boyfriend.." he quietly whispered, then smiling.

"Well, we could have a secret relationship, and you could dump Caroline at the end of tour," I suggested. I loved the thought of me and Vic having more than just a friendship.

"I don't want it to be a secret forever," he started to play with his thumbs.

"It won't be forever, at least I hope," I kept smiling down at him, and he would ocasionally smile back nervously.

"Okay.. this better work," he nervously responded.

"It will, I promise." I reassured him.

I lifted up his head lightly before standing up, I offered my hand out to help him up.  He grabbed my hand and genuinely smiled. Once he was standing our faces were less than a inch apart. As cliche as it sounds, my heart literally skipped a beat. I held back my instinct to kiss him.

"What am I going to do with you Hime?" He smiled, looking into my eyes, hoping for a kiss. I decided to tease him a little and not kiss him.

"Fake it," I said, grabbing his hand and leading him out of the room to continue our lives like nothing happened. I heard him sigh behind me, I couldn't help but smile that he was disappointed that we had to 'fake it'.
