7 ~ Don't Forget to Bleed So Slowly

Mike and I had one of the most awkward talks.

"Well, this explains why you guys have been sneaking around together," he laughed. Mike was chill with the whole relationship and everything; I knew it'd be fine, I wish Vic would've too.

"I'm going to check on Vic, he's probably pissed at me," I said before getting up.

"Whatever makes my brother happy," smiled Mike, hitting my back.

I opened the door that Vic once slammed, revealing Vic's suitcase open, clothes strung out in every direction on the floor. I looked over to where Tony was, sitting with his back against the bathroom door, his eyes closed. He banged his head against the door, "Come on Vic, please tell me what's wrong, we've been friends for years, jesus."

"No you wouldn't understand!" Vic said, barely audible because of his crying and sniffling. I could only imagine how sad he was, and that literally broke my heart.

I walked over, "What's happening?" I asked, as if I didn't know.

"Vic slammed the door, and I woke up, then he's been crying in here for like thirty minutes and he won't open the door."

"Mind if I try?"

"Good luck," Tony said, getting up, walking to the kitchen.

I softly knocked on the door, "Vic... it's Hime, please open the door?"

Surprisingly, he opened the door, quicker than a cheetah probably. He pulled me in and slammed it.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" He immediately screamed at me, pushing me against the wall. His arms were on each side of me. Vic's cheeks were red, tears staining each cheek, with more tears ready to fall.

"Vic, I'm sorry.. please," I whispered.

"Why would you do that Jaime? You know I didn't want anyone to know!"

"Vic-"

"Please don't tell me your sorry, I knew if you really cared about me, you wouldn't have told Mike that!"

"I got angry, okay?! Mike is cool with it, he said anything that makes you happy makes him happy! There's no more sneaking around him! Please listen to me!"

"Does Tony know now too?" Vic said in a pissed off, somewhat sarcastic tone.

"No, but there's a 75% chance that he doesn't care either!"

We were both out of breath with all the screaming. Vic's warm breath hit my skin, I felt somewhat comfortable, although we were screaming.

"You know, you're perfect?" I slightly smiled.

"Jaime, don't-" he began, as I cut him off with a kiss. The thing is, he kissed back, even though he was pissed off. Our lips interlocked, as our tongues began to dance. This was actually the most perfect kiss, although we were just screaming at each other. I wrapped my hands around his waist, pullig him closer to me. I could feel his little heartbeat almost as rapid as mine, slowly calming down. Was this actually happening? Vic was the only person I could genuinely be pissed off at but love him all at once.

We both pulled away almost simultaneously. I caught my breath as Vic's arms dropped to his side. He bit his lip and said, "Apology accepted."

I smiled, "That was possibly the cutest apology ever."

"Stop trying to make me feel special," Vic laughed.

"Well, you're the most special person."

"No you are, Hime-Time!" he giggled. We sounded like a cute bantering couple, almost as if teenagers.

I grabbed Vic's hands and interlocked them with mine. I was about to go in for another kiss when something caught my eye, well other than Vic's beautiful face.

"Vic what's that?"

Vic sighed, as I cut us off in mid-kiss.

"What's what?" he smiled at me.

"What's on your sleeve?" It looked like something I've seen before.

"Shit," Vic whispered, "It bled through."

I dropped my left hand and pushed his sleeve up.

Vic looked down, then back up to see my disappointed expression.

"You.. promised," tears slowly beginning to fill my eyes. As much as I wanted to suck it up and 'be a man' I couldn't. It hurt me to see that Vic hurt and that he began to inflict pain on himself... again.
