Chapter 2 A New Mystery Unfolds

_Still Third POV_

Soos got home and went into his room completely avoiding his grandmother. He grabbed a box of sodas that were in the corner and opened it thinking it's going to be a while for him. He opened the box and removed the disc. He carefully placed the disc into the holder and closed it. For some reason, it warned him as well but it asked him if he was over thirteen or not. He said yes and started to get a strange vibe from this game if it even was after all. As he pressed ok it played a soft music tune it was nice to hear before he could even get to the game screen it instantly shuts off after glitching for a couple of seconds. Freaked out he grabbed his phone and keys and headed to the Mystery Shack. I drove his car until he found his parking spot and got out of the car as quickly as possible and headed for the door. He made it to the door and knocked on it desperately and Dipper opened the door.

_Dipper's POV_

I was about to take a shower and head to bed until I heard a knock on the front door Grunkle Stan wasn't around so I answered it to find Soos at the door.

"Soos? What's wrong did something happen to you?" I asked in worry.

"Dude I was about to play that dating game and it just shuts everything off!"

"Did you take out the disc?"

"I checked the box dude its not in there!" He argued back.

"Strange...do you want Mabel and I to check it out?" I asked trying to not look tired.

"Yeah, dude."

"Alright, I'll be back with Mabel ok stay here."

As soon as I got upstairs I wondered why he asked us for help twice usually he helps us. I ignore my questioning thoughts and went to get Mabel.

"Mabel! Emergency Soos needs our help!"

"Really?!? That's twice in one day!"

"I know just come on!" I said dragging her out of the room while grabbing my journal.

"Alright!!! Fine!" She whined.

We finally made it down and we noticed Grunkle Stan was passed out on the couch well at least he would ask where we're going.

"You ready dudes?"

"Yup!" We said in unison.

He leads us to his car and Mabel and I took the back seat while Soos was in the front about to drive. He put the keys in and we drove off.

Mabel shook me back into reality after I was staring out the window.

"Dip dop! Get up we have a mystery to solve!" Mabel cheered shaking me out of my trance.

"Ok, ok Mabel lets go!" I said booking it out of the car.

Soos went inside his house to see if his grandmother was asleep and she was so he leads us inside to head to his room and his computer was off and the lights were on.

"So you're saying it turned off by itself?"

"Yeah dude let me get the box."

Soos went for his shelf and found the box and handed it to me. I rechecked the disc insert and nothing was in there.

"Soos are you sure you left the game it there before telling us about this???" I questioned him.

"Dude I swear its in there."

"Well not anymore look," I said showing him the empty disc player.

"T-that's Impossible dude the disc was in there!"
