BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS

In his sermon on the mount, Jesus was quoted as saying (Matthew 5:9) "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

Islam means Surrender to Allah and also Peace: peace between the Creator and the worshipper. Jesus could not mean his mission as peacemaker as he did not come for peace. (Matthew 10:34-36): "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." See also Luke 12:49-53.

Kingdom of Heaven means the establishing of Islam on earth, which is the name given by Allah for His religion. The Qur'an states in the final precept / bit of revelation at the time of the farewell pilgrimage of the Prophet: "This day have I (Allah) perfected for you your religion, and chosen Islam ..."
