"If you build the guts to do something, anything, better save enough to face the consequences"

Halfrida looked at her friend and noticed that her friend wasn't very happy. After that incident that happened that made her name go viral in the school, Adelaide had kind of withdrawn into her shell.
She didn't like it that Adelaide had become quiet not even talking to her like before.

Adelaide sat on her sit as she turned to look at Stephen. When their eyes met, he gave her a once over look before looking away. Adelaide had been waiting for him to gloating about how he tarnished her image in school but he hadn't come to gloating about it. She wondered why he didn't come to meet her. Perhaps he's feeling guilty for what he did to her? Her subconscious thought.
No he could never feel guilty for hurting her. He delights in my pleasure Adelaide told herself as she dried a tear that fell off her eyes.

"We need to go and challenge him Adelaide. You don't need to sit here and sulk" Halfrida said as she pulled Adelaide to Stephen's seat.

Stephen was sitting on his chair reading his economics textbook when  he felt the textbook dragged out of his  hand.

"What the hell Halfrida?" Stephen said irritatedly.
"How dare you Stephen? How dare you do that to me?" Adelaide asked fuming with anger.

"What have I done?" Stephen  asked her smirking.
"Shut the hell up Stephen. You had the guts to insult my friend because she is better than you" Halfrida barked.

"Wow really? I didn't realise she was better than me" Stephen replied still smiling.
"Because you saw me holding that man, you had the guts to insult me?" Adelaide asked  angrily.

"I don't know what you are talking about" Stephen replied still amused.

"You had the guts to record the voice note and  video then you sent it to everyone via xender and you are finding it funny?" Halfrida asked.

"I don't know what you are talking about Frida', Stephen replied smirking
.
"Shut the hell up Stephen you very well know what we are talking about"Halfrida replied.

"I didn't send any voice note nor video. Instead of wasting my time on a girl like you, I would rather sweep the whole city of New York Stephen taunted as he pointed at Adelaide.

"You liar" Adelaide said as she slaps Stephen the hardest way she could. You mean creature. I hate you so much! How could you do that to me? You are very mean and wicked and black human sympathy. You always look for the way to hurt people. The name displayed was Stephano and you still have the guts to lie?" Adelaide barked.

"What? You just slapped me because of a voice note, I would so deal with you Adelaide. You would regret slapping me. I just sent a voice note and you want to die? I would so deal with you because it's obvious that you are very stupid" Stephen said as he pushed her. "This is just the beginning Adelaide. The video and voice not was just a warning. Next time, it would be much worse. I might send them a naked picture of you"Stephen said as he cleaned the cheek Adelaide slapped him.

"You are such a pig. I hate you so much. You don't deserve to live with humans. I hate you for hurting me this way. Just so that you know. The two men were my family. My father and my brother! Are you happy now?"Adelaide screamed as tears gushed out of her eyes. By now, she had gathered the attention of the the class.

Stephano looked at her in shock as she continued crying.

"I hate you so much. So so much" Adelaide screamed as she hit his chest.

"Fuck you" Stephen said as he walks out of the class whils Adelaide continued crying.
"Addy it's ok. Calm down" Halfrida coaxed.

"Why don't you just tell the whole school that the two men were your family?" Halfrida queried.

"No I wouldn't do so. No one has the right to ask me for any explanation. I owe no one but myself an explanation" Adelaide begged.

"I promise I won't tell anyone aside from the people who in the class who  heard obviously heard you. Im sure they would do the talking" Halfrida said as she hugged Addy who hugged her back like her life depended on the hug.
