"Jake!" I exclaimed as I rushed to his side but was pulled back by Jason who growled lowly at me.
"Let go,he is my friend" I said as I jacked my hand off Jason and made my way towards Jake
"Indy! Are you okay?"He said looking at like he was searching for something.
"Did they hurt you?" he asked he was handcuffed in a weird stuff and had a little blood on his face.
It was obvious he got into a fight with the boys and it did not go well for him
"Why the fuck did you hit him?" I said staring dagger gaze at Nick and Sean as I nudged them in the chest
"When and how did you know this guy?" Nick asked curiously
"He is from my school and he is a friend" I answered as they ignored my question
"Well,bumper news babe,he is a vampire" Jason broke out as I stood frozen at a spot.
"No he is not, that's ridiculous" I stated as I looked at Jake but he only looked down.
"Jason,get the substance" Sean said as he came back with a clove of garlic and they shoved it into his mouth.
Jake began to react as he fell to the floor and began to shake furiously and suddenly sharp fangs extended and his face was as pale as a ghost and it had vein all over.
"Help him!" I yelled as I made my way towards him but I was blocked by Jason.
"It's not safe" Jason said as Nick poured some substance inside his mouth stabilizing him.
"You are vampire?" I asked Jake though I knew the truth. I just needed him to say it because it's hard to believe
"Answer me!" I yelled
"You wanna know the truth,I'm a vampire! Now what does that change?" He asked shouting or should I say yelling back at me.
"Don't freaking shout at her" Jason yelled back at him,we really need to stop yelling,and take deep breaths.
I flashed back and remembered the lotion incidence and his grandma young features
"I guess that explains the lotion and your grandma Elizabeth" I said clearing off the mystery from my mind.
"Wait...Did you say Elizabeth, like Elizabeth the great, mother of Dracula?" Sean asked alarmed.
"What clan do you belong to" he asked Jake as he pulled up Jake's wrist,on it is a small dark tattoo.
"The blood moon" Sean whispered as he examined the tattoo
"So Dracula is your father?"Sean asked rhetorically
"What are you doing here,did Dracula send you here" Nick asked Jake who is still in cuffs by the way.
"Wait,wait,isn't Dracula suppose to be dead?" I asked curiously
"The first real Dracula is dead,but the name is passed on to one of his his,so this new Dracula is Dracula the 5th" Emily explained,I wonder when she woke up.
"So what are you doing here?" Sean asked suspiciously
"I was about to go hunting in the woods,when I saw Indy running into the woods,I was just going to keep an eye on her but she was abducted by werewolves" Jake explained
"Abducted?,werewolves?" I asked confused
"There are no werewolves living in the woods" I explained as Jake bursted into laughter.
"Was that what they told you these guys including the pregnant Lady are all werew.... "
"Enough" sean yelled as his voice echoed through the room as he interrupted Jake's speech.
"This is not your tale to tell" sean added
"Indy,there is something else you need to know" Jason said this time
"Great,I guess today is the day of revelation" I said out loud
"Elementals are mostly supernatural being,but in most cases they are werewolves and mostly men,it is possible to have a female elemental but it is rare" Sean explained but this time I was not shocked I mean I was expecting something like that.
"I guess that explains the growling and possessiveness and the eye turning black" I said stating the obvious as they all looked at me
"What! My mom used to tell me about werewolves"I explained
"How did you get in here" Nick asked Jake
"I ran" Jake answered still on cuffs
"Okay,since we are done with the introduction can you please get him off the cuffs" I said as Sean hesitated at first but finally answered.
"I mean how did you get pass out bobby trap" Nick asked.
"What bubby trap?"Jake asked as he rubs his wrist
"The lasers, bear trap and all...."Sean said as he stoppedto be think
"There was no bobby trap and even if there was it wouldn't be strong enough to separate me from Indy" Jake said winking at me.
"Nick,get the surveillance cameras,I have a felling something is not right here" Sean said at alert as Nick came back a few seconds later with a laptop.
"Shit! The cameras are down" Nick said as he tried to access the camera's back.
"Shit! Sean, Jason come see this" Nick called as he managed to access one camera.
I know I was not called but pokenosing also happens to be middle name so I went to see what was going on.
I gasped as I looked at the screen
"Feral!" I whispered remembering the one feral I encountered and they were about 3 from the one camera Nick tried to activate.
"They must have found us" Nick said getting up as he made his way to a closet and starts to pull out different acient weapons all I could recognise is sword and daggers and arrows and bows as Jason helped him out with it.
"Emily, Indy get inside a room luck the door and don't come out till I say so" Sean instructed
"And you" Sean said pointing at Jake
"You are coming with us,any funny play and you are dead" Sean threatened
"Wait,he can't fight,you gonna get him killed" I said facing Sean
"I'm a vampire Indy,I am a descendent of Dracula,what kind of a vampire would I be if I can't fight" Jake said with a proud smirk on his face.
"Wait,I can't do this" I said as if I suddenly realised what was going on.
"Do what?" Nick asked confused.
"All of this,look,I have a complex life already and I the last thing I need is some fantasy" I said looking down.
"Fantasy,did you really just say fantasy" Sean yelled out
"Caleb fucking died because of your so called fantasy" Sean said as Emily tried to calm him down but he looked to her and said "No,let me tell this pup what's going on"
He looked to me and said "Look if you think all this is just a play,then you can leave,this is war and somehow we protect you humans one way or another, do you think we chose this lives ourselves? No,but we have to do it because a lot of werewolves and other creatures will die if we don't....." Sean said flaring up but was interrupted by Nick.
"Sean! That's enough!" Nick said as he interrupted Sean
"Indy!" He said looking at me
"You can leave if you want, you are still very young and still have a whole lot ahead of you, have fun kiddo" he said puling me into a hug.
"So that's it hun......you are leaving" Jason cane forward, hurt evident in his voice.
"What happened to us being your family,or me being your buddy,you are just as fake as a plastic" Jason said shouting as Emily and Nick tried to calm him and to say I wasn't hurt would be a lie,so I did the reasonable I took my phone as I made my way to the door.
"Let's go" I said to Jake and left without taking a look back as Jake followed behind me.
I guess it was not meant to be.
