We were few meters away from the woods when the car stopped at a garage.
"Why did we stop?" I asked sitting up
"We walk from here" Sean said sharply as he handed the key to an old man who rode it into the garage as they exchanged a few words.
"Why do you live in the woods?" I asked curiously
"Certain reasons" Sean replied shortly
I realized maybe he doesn't want to talk or maybe it's just in his nature to be grumpy.
I got down from the car and I stood up certain pain strung through my leg.
"Guys, I don't think I can walk for long" I said supporting my weight on a tree as my body began to hurt
"Awwn, my buddy can't walk, don't worry I'll give you a piggy ride" Jason said bending down as I jumped on his back.
I muttered a thank you as I adjusted myself on his back. So far Jason was my favourite person.
We walked into the woods for about an hour, while Nick and Jason keep taking turn carrying me.
"This wood looks different from the last one" I said as I observed the surrounding.
"That is because it is different, we like to move around a lot we don't really stay in one place" Jason explained as he carried me on his
"Jason you fool,don't blab our secrets out" Sean shouted smacking Jason.
"Heyy,don't spank him" I said protectively while Sean completely ignored me.
"Maybe I should spank you too for eating my pregnant mate's cookie,do you know how sad she was or the stress I had to go to buy her new ones" Sean yelled at me angrily as I recollected the unfortunate incident.
"I'm sorry,I didn't know she would want them and I had not eaten in like 2 days" I said defensively
"Is 'mate' the name of your dog or something" I asked curiously as Jason and Nick stifled a laughter
"Indy,when he says mates he means something like wife" Nick explained while I nodded
"You better shut your mouth pup,before I do it for you" Sean said angrily
"Okay that does it! I yelled in annoyance
"Who are you calling a puppy, bitch" I yelled at him ignoring the pain that travelled through me.
Sean became angry as he growled while hitting a tree making a hole in it.
"Poor tree!" I thought as I buried myself in Jason's back in fright as Sean started running further into the woods and I could have sworn that his eyes were pitch black.
"Look here Indy, if you gonna stay here you have to learn to control your mouth" Nick warned
"And when Sean said pup he meant kid,okay? He is prone to anger and when he gets angry only Emily can stop him from destroying anything so you need to behave" Nick said sternly as I laid my head on Jason's back.
"I'm sorry" I replied as I saw the house in view.
We entered the house which was a small cabin only too see Sean sniffing a pregnant woman who I assumed was his wife,Emily.
As we entered Jason dropped me on the couch, he seemed exhausted which I don't blame him,I'm close to 56kg.
"Indy?" The woman who Sean was sniffing called my name
"Heyy?" I said sounding more like a question than a greeting.
"Emily?" I asked as I looked at the pregnant figure closer.
