I sat on Jake's bike that he left at the entrance of the woods as he rode to town I couldn't stop thinking about the incidence.
I couldn't help but feel guilty I mean even Jason was hurt and I don't know if I made the right decision by leaving them behind to face the enemy, I don't know if I really feel this way or it just the bond I have with the guys that makes me feel like this.
"Indy!" I noticed Jake yelling my name out loud pulling out of my thought.
"What the fuck Jake" I shouted in frustration
"I have been yelling your name since" Jake said "And by the way,we are at your house" Jake said pointing at my house A.K.A hell
I sighted as I looked at the house, Do I really want to go back to this house again? Do I really want to leave the people who loves and care for me? Would that make me like my dad?' I thought as I started to have a second thought
"Freaking damn it Indy,you blacked out again" Jake said swearing
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked Jake as he keeps looking at me.
"How?" He asked looking confused
"Like I'm a devil" I yelled out at him while pushing him backward but he didn't flip. I shouldn't be surprised though,he is a vampire.
"Indy,I can never hate you,okay? And I'm going yo support you in whatever decision you take and I won't let anything happen to you,okay?" Jake said looking deep into my eyes
"Thank you" I said as I pulled him into a hug.
"I know just what to do" I whispered with a smirk on my face.
I made my way into aunt Maggie's house though the window with Jake behind me as we crept though the house.
Jake kept watch as I made my way into my aunt Maggie's house and of course there were bottles scattered everywhere, clothes on the floor and the place smells of drug.
I tipped pass the bundle of clothes and broken bottles and made my way to my aunt's closet.
"Bingo!" I said as took out on of my aunt's shot gun. I just hope she doesn't realize it missing. I took a few bullets I had always practice with aunt Maggie's gun just in case of emergency and I needed to use it.
"Done" I said as Jake got out of the house and rode his bike to the forest.
"We walk from here" Jake said as we dropped his bike in the old man's garage.
We made our way into the woods and to the cabin.
"Ahh!" I gasped as I examined the look of the cabin. It was destroyed and it was set ablaze
"Indigo!" A voice called out as I looked back to see Emily huffing behind a tree.
" Are you okay?" I asked as I pulled her into a hug. He air was all disorganized and she had smoke all over her.
"Yes, there are lot of them and I managed to escape, Jason went to help the others.....what are you doing here anyway" she asked curiously.
" We are a family and I won't leave you all when you need me" I replied
" Where are the others?" I asked as I sat beside Emily
"They are at the inner part of the woods, they are trying to fight off the ferals" Emily answered as I looked to Jake who was busy examining the damage don't to the house.
"We are going to help!" I said as I stood up from beside Emily. And made my way to Jake.
"Come on Jake,Emily said the others are fighting some where inside the woods and I need you to track them with your vampire abilitiesso we can help" I said as I pulled Jake away from what remained of the house.
"Indy, you can't go, it's not a child's play" Emily said sternly
" I'll be okay besides Jake will be there" I said giving her a hug and left before she changed her mind.
After a few minutes walk I could her sounds of battle so Jake and I went there. There were dead ferals body all over and some were still standing.
Suddenly, Jake joined the fight as he extended his claws and his gangs as he jumped on a feral as started to stab it with his claws.
I brought out my short gun scanned the area to pick my target and once I did I started to shoot at it but it didn't really make any effect it formed like a little wound on its body, it began to ran to me and I kept shooting trying to bring it down but suddenly I ran out of bullet so I went for plan B, I ran.
I should have really stayed behind with Emily, I ran in circles while the feral caused after me then I decided to stay my ground.
"I hope this works" I said as I stretched out my hand hoping for my elemental power to activate, I mean it works in the movie when the person is in danger and tries his power and boom! It activates.
I tried strechg forth my hand and nothing happen,tried again same thing as he feral came closer but nothing happened. The feral was few meters away and before I knew it was standing tall and grossy in front of me.
Smash! Suddenly I was flying a few foot off the ground as it smashed me with it's hand causing me to land on the floor.
"Indigo!" A voice who I think belonged to Sean called as he came to my rescue and sent a flying arrow to it's head causing it to land on the floor.
So much for bravery! My back hurts like shit
"Shit! Are you okay?" Sean asked laying me over
"Yeah! Hopefully not broken bones" I replied as my back stung.
" What are you doing here anyway?" He asked curiously
"I thought you would need an extra hand" I replied as I managed to let out a grin.
" Okay! Just stay here till we get this over with" he said as he made his way to help the others.
After a few minutes the whole feral pack was done.
"Indy,are you okay?" Jason asked as he came to my side along with the rest of the boys.
"Jake, Jason get her back to the cabin while Nick and I take care of the mess" Sean commanded as I leaned on Jason and Jack's shoulder as we left.
"Geez Indy, I told you to stay but no! You just had to go" Emily scolded as she added her magical cream to my back
Soon enough Sean and Nick returned while Jason and Jake checked out the damage.
"We move tomorrow, this place is not safe and besides we have to move to the Black Moon Pack for Caleb's burial" Sean said as he rinsed his blooded body.
" What about me?" I asked curiously
"You are coming with us" he replied strictly
Well I have no problem coming with them,it's not like I have anything better to do for a term.
"Well, I'd have to get back or else grandma's going to be worried and I do have school but I can come to the pack during the weekends,that is if the alpha Arden would let me come into his territory by the by the way" Jake said as I wondered who Alpha Arden was.
" Whose Alpha Arden?" I asked curiously
"He controls one of the strongest pack and has the most territory the community and he is a bit of a hardhead I mean all Alphas are but his wolf is something else" Jason explained
" Oh,and I belong to his pack" Jason added
"Well,we would tell him a vampire would be coming if we would be able to convince him" Nick added
" I just hope things go smoothly,I mean that the worse that could happen,right?" Emily said rubbing her bulgy stomach.
