Blake's POV
Today is the day. After today everything will change. Things will start to get serious. I'll have to grow up. Today is graduation day. It's exciting yet, sad. High School is over, which is great. But Kiana will be leaving soon."Blake hurry up you're gonna be late!"
My mom was calling me from downstairs. I took a look in the mirror to check my self out and breathed in and out. "This is it." I whispered to myself.
Kiana's POV
Where the hell is Blake? I knew he would be running late he's late to everything. All of us graduates were waiting inside of building. Everyone was nervous and shaky. I peeked out the door to see if Blake was in sight, and of course he was running through the crowd of people to the door."Hey." he said out of breath.
"You're late."
"I know I was getting dressed."
"B this is a big day, you know if you were any later you wouldn't be walking."
"I know I know I'm sorry, I just-"Blake was cut off by one of the teachers telling us that it was time to walk. We got in our line formation and got ready to walk out. The doors opened, the music played, and I swear my heart stopped. I looked back at Blake and he gave a thumbs up. As we were walking I saw my family and Blakes family sitting together. My mom and Gail were crying of course, but everyone else was waving at us. I took my seat and watched the ceremony begin.
While Adam Brooks talked gave a speech I felt Blake tap my shoulder from behind.
"We're going to a party tonight." he whispered.
I nodded letting him know I was cool with it. Now let's get this graduation over with already.

At The Party
"Pick anyone for the night I got you" I said to Blake. He wanted me to be his wing-girl, but he wouldn't pick anyone."I don't know, no one is interesting."
"They don't have to be interesting it's just a one night stand. You know what I'm gonna go find you one."
I walked off and searched for a girl that would suit Blake. I mean all he needs is a blonde with big boobs and he should be fine. I spotted someone that would be perfect for him. Before I could walk over to her Blake came up and grabbed me.
"Bella is here and she's looking for you. She's drunk and wants to fight."
"Oh my gosh what did I ever do to her?" I whined. I rolled my eyes and put my hand on my forehead. I don't really enjoy conflict, and I definitely don't want to fight tonight.
"If you want we could leave, I'm kind of not feeling the party scene tonight." he said. I didn't want to make him leave.
"No, I know you want to stay, it's our last high school party." I responded.
"Nah I'd rather go hang out with you somewhere, you're leaving me in 2 weeks." I looked down, I totally forgot about that. I nodded and said ok. We drove back to Blake's house. We went in the backyard into the treehouse.
Blake turned on the light and I threw my keys onto the floor. I grabbed a blanket off of the chair and plopped onto the blue bean bag chair, my favorite spot. I looked up at the wooden ceiling.
"I can't believe I'll be leaving this place behind." I whispered. Blake sat next to me in the black bean bag chair. "I won't be able to run here anymore." Blake said. "We're growing up." he whispered looking up.
"Remember all the games we played up here?" I started laughing.
"How could I forget? You're favorite one was 'rescue the princess' but you never wanted to be the princess. You always made Megan or Brittany do it." he chuckled.
"What ever happened to Megan? She used to be really cool."
"Ah Megan. You had the biggest crush on her." Blake rolled his eyes.
"You had a huge crush on Xavier!"
"Hey you don't have to bring back up the past." I chuckled. He rolled his eyes and laughed. I felt his stare in the corner of my eye. He's been acting weird lately.
"Key I- never mind."
"No what were you gonna say?" I turned to face him. He turned his head and looked at the ceiling. He just chuckled and kept looking up.
"Nothing."
I rolled my eyes and turned on my back again.
•••
Blake's POVI thought that now would've been a good time to tell Key what I've been feeling, but I know she doesn't feel the same. I don't want things between us to get awkward. I've wanted her for so long, but our friendship has lasted longer. I want to tell her but I can't mess things up. And on top of that she's leaving me. Maybe when she leaves I can finally move on. It sucks to be in love with someone you can't have. To have these feelings but not share them is hell. Its killing me to keep this from her. I feel like a prisoner and she doesn't even know it. I want her so bad but I can't have her.
I turned my head and looked at her. She is so beautiful. She's perfect. She turned her head and smiled. Damn, what a goddess.
"What are you staring at?" she chuckled.
I just laughed and turned my head back to the ceiling.
"You've been acting weird Blake." I saw her staring at me in the corner of my eye. "Like I was about to hook you up, but you stopped me."
"I didn't want to hook up with anyone tonight." I said.
"Because I'm in love." I said in my head. "Just wasn't in the mood."
"Sure you weren't. Is this about a certain girl?" I shot my head in her direction. My palms suddenly felt sweaty.
"N-No what are you talking about?" I stuttered. She knows dammit she knows.
"Is it because I brought up Megan?" Thank god.
"Of course not." I started to calm down and turned my head back to the ceiling and closed my eyes.
"Maybe it's a close friend." She said.
My eyes instantly shot open.
Shit.
