Hyunjin's displeased voice sounded in his mind. "What is this?? It wasn't supposed to be like this."
Felix freaked out and looked around himself.
"I'm in your head you idiot, you can't see me."
"GET OUT."
"No."
"THIS IS MY HEAD, FIND ONE FOR YOURSELF."
Felix slapped himself once again.
"Stop yelling." Said Hyunjin.
"D-Did you just slap me with my own hand?" Felix looked at himself unbelievably in the mirror.
"Yeah." Hyunjin's voice grew annoyed. "We should have switched places but now we're just both stuck here."
"Uhm, excUse me but this is my body. I'm not stuck anywhere. And you should leave."
"No I can't, are you that dumb? Souls can't just enter and leave bodies how they like. It can shatter and dissipate very easily."
"So when can you go back?" Said Felix impatiently.
It was kinda uncomfortable having another soul in his body, which could control it as well.
"I don't know. Weeks, months, years?"
"Years?? Can't you fasten it a little?"
"Look I don't like this any more than you do. Having to share a body, even worse, sharing it with a peasant like you."
"EhM wHAt? Okay first of all, this is all your fault for being an evil ghost stuck in a mirror for many years and not finding peace. And second of all, I'm not that broke, okay??"
"Whatever. Get up, you look dumb just lying on the floor."
"I can do what I want, you get up if you want to. I'm not doing anything." Said Felix sulkily.
Hyunjin propped up one of their arms and pulled them up.
'It's weird to see myself move but actually not doing anything.' Thought Felix.
They got up and looked in the mirror. Hyunjin came closer and observed his new face.
He frowned. "Too tanned."
"Well I don't know which dynasty do you come from, but normal people actually go outside." Said Felix exaspered.
Hyunjin shot him a glare in the mirror.
Felix ignored it. "Oh right, I forgot to ask you. Which part of history do you come from? Your clothes seemed kinda out of this era."
Hyunjin thought about if for a while and then replied coldly.
"How should I know how long was I stuck there? Occasionally I would hear some voices from the outside. For example that little brat from the antique shop. I heard his voice often but he never dared to lift the veil."
Felix felt bad for him again. 'Oh god this poor guy, so unlucky. He must have been stuck in that mirror for hundreads of years.'
He tried to lift up the mood. "Yo Hyunjin, how about we look up stuff about your era in the library tomorrow after school?"
"Whatever."
"I'll take it as a yes. Now I gotta sleep so please be quiet."
"..."
"Nice, I'm glad we get along."
"..."
"Haha, goodnight."
Meanwhile at the Yang antique shop
Madam Yang went upstairs and entered Jeongin's room.
"Innie?" She asked.
"Hm? Yes, mom?" Jeongin looked up from his phone.
"Where's that old mirror, the one with the golden frame?" She asked seriously.
"Oh, that old thing? Felix found it pretty so I gave it to him."
"YANG JEONGIN."
Jeongin fell of the bed and gave her a frightened look. He has never seen his mom this mad.
Not even when he broke a thousand year old precious chinese vase.
"NONO MOM DON'T BE MAD, HE SAID HE WOULD COME TOMORROW AND PAY FOR IT."
"IT'S NOT THE MONEY I'M WORRIED ABOUT. THE MIRROR WAS POSESSED BY A GREAT EVIL, DO YOU REALIZE WHAT CAN HAPPEN TO FELIX IF HE REMOVES THE VEIL??"
Jeongin's eyes were red and he was sniffing already.
Madame Yang helped him get up and sat next to him on the bed.
"Let's just hope that Felix is safe."
