They both got back to the UK on the same day.

Elvis

In Ukraine Elvis and his team had to rescue a member of the British embassy who had been taken hostage. This didn't take very long and they were basically in and out in a matter of minutes. However they needed to stay there for a few more days in case they were needed again at a moment's notice. During this time they weren't called back so Elvis, Spanner, Spunky and Jackson spent their time hanging around an army base. During this time Elvis still couldn't stop thinking about Georgie and he decided that he would try and track her down when he got back to the UK to see if he could get her to change her mind.

Georgie

Georgie spent her remaining days in Afghanistan around the hospital nearly only leaving to eat and sleep as she was determined to work to the best of her abilities whilst there. Georgie was very dedicated to her job and it came before anything including relationships at that point. However she had been thinking over if she had made the right decision when Elvis asked her out because now she realised he seemed special and more caring than any of the other guys she had ever dated.

Elvis

Elvis drove through the security at the army base and parked his car. He got out of his car and headed into the building. He was there for some meetings with the higher ups. The meeting room was on the second floor so he walked up two flights of stairs and ended up in a long corridor. The room was at the end of the corridor so he walked along it. As he was doing so he thought he heard a very familiar voice when he was halfway along the corridor. He thought he was hallucinating so he ignored it and continued towards his target.

The door to the room was shut so he knocked on it "Come in" the man on the other side of the the door answered. Elvis opened the door and entered the room. He was met with an older man with grey hair sitting at a large wooden table. Elvis walked towards him  "Ah Captain Harte, sit down" the man said. Elvis sat down opposite the man and after a few more minutes and a few more people came in the meeting began.

Georgie

Since she had gotten back from Afghanistan a few days prior she had been at the barracks everyday training new army medics. This wasn't something she particularly enjoyed doing as she would much rather be out on the field treating wounds than in a classroom with a bunch of people who weren't even really paying attention to what she was teaching them. She knew that they weren't listening because when she asked one of them to repeat what she had just said about the CABC's, he had no clue and just spewed out a bunch of nonsense. Luckily it was nearing the end of the class so Georgie knew that she would soon be able to have a break and get out of the stuffy classroom.

About five minutes later she finished her class and made her way to the cafeteria to get her lunch. The lunch queue was fairly small as most of the people normally on base were out doing training exercises. She got to the front pretty quickly and bought a ham and cheese sandwich, bowl of Lentil and bacon soup and a cup of tea.

She walked over to one of the empty tables and sat down. Her next class was in an hour so in her eyes that gave her plenty of time to check her phone, enjoy her lunch and possibly got for a short walk outside to get some fresh air.

Elvis

He had just gotten out of his second meeting and was starving so, he decided instead of going straight back home to London that he was going to grab some lunch from the cafeteria.

He entered the fairly quiet cafeteria and joined the queue. He bought a salad and a coffee. He picked up his plate off of the counter and carried his coffee in the other over to the tables. It was then that he noticed Georgie sitting alone at one of the tables, so he went over to sit with her "Fancy seeing you here" he grinned. Georgie looked up at him and cheerily said "Hiya Elvis" "Mind if I join you?" Elvis asked "No, not at all" Georgie replied. Elvis pulled the chair out opposite Georgie and sat down "So what brings you up here then?" Georgie asked as she took a sip from her tea "Meeting's with the higher up's,you?" Elvis replied "Training new medic's, just started the day after I got back from Afghan" she said back "Well they're lucky, as you are the best medic I've ever had the pleasure to work with" Elvis replied with a cheeky grin "Oh stop it" Georgie jokingly replied blushing slightly.

They chatted for the rest of Georgie's lunch break and when Georgie noticed the time and was just about to leave she said "I have been thinking about what you asked me in Afghan" "So?....." Elvis questioned looking hopeful but feeling nervous for her answer. Georgie looked down at the table and said "I have changed my mind.... I will see you" Elvis was ecstatic. He felt like fist pumping the air. The girl of his dreams had said yes. He couldn't help but smile.

Georgie

Georgie wrote down her number on a napkin and gave it to Elvis so he could text her about arranging their date. Georgie then realised that she only had one minute until she was supposed to start her next class so she quickly said bye to Elvis and legged it towards her classroom where her students were patiently waiting for their teacher.

Elvis

He put away his and Georgie's plates and then headed towards his car so that he could make the almost four hour drive back to London where he was currently living. Elvis couldn't stop smiling the whole way back. He couldn't believe his luck as he thought that he may never see Georgie again and on top of that the thing that made him happiest was that she said yes. Even if it was only one date that they were going to go on he would make sure to make it count.

Georgie

She had just finished teaching her last class of the day and was about to head home when her phone pinged. She got it out of her pocket and smiled when she saw that it was a text from Elvis that said "Next Friday alright?" "Next Friday sounds good" she  quickly typed back. She then turned off her phone and put it back in her pocket so that she could lock the classroom door. She then headed to her small red car in the car park and drove home to her parents house. The whole way she had butterflies. She didn't know why. But then it dawned on her "Oh my god I think I like Elvis" she whispered.

Please tell me what you think. It took me ages to write this chapter and I'm still not entirely sure on it but if I didn't upload it then I would probably have ended up deleting it and taking even longer to upload.

On a more positive note thankyou for over 500 reads. It blows me away how this story has even had one view.
