All they care about is those stupid little three wishes. They ask for Wealth, they ask for glory, but they never ask for anything that isn't selfish. Like...like releasing me. I've been stuck in this lamp for an eternity. Imprisoned by the king of the underworld. He only used one of his three wishes. And he made it clear that he will never let me go. But... I know what he wished for. And that is why the ball is in my hands.
I lived through centuries. I granted million of wishes. Yet none of them was for me. I hate being a Genie. I hate my parents for bringing me to this world, only to be a slave to selfish people. I don't know what it means to be cared for or loved. I only know what it means to be used and manipulated. But...there is one thing I am grateful for. And that is Krispy. My Familiar. She is everything for me. I met her when my bottle landed on a far away island, many centuries ago.
She is the biggest, prettiest and smartest Elephant I ever knew. She is sweet, kind and my best friend. She still lives on the island, which is a century for immortal animals, that live far away from men world. Sometimes, I manage to get far enough to meet her. But I get weak when I'm far away from my bottle for too long. I hate this. This bottle is a jail. But It's the only home I've got, and the Source of my powers.
While I'm locked away here, I still hear wishes. I still grant wishes. And a fair warning, be careful what you wish for.
