It's entertaining to me. I don't know why, but It just is. For years I thought it was better to be on my own. I learned people from afar. I learned that they can be good, but they can also be monsters. But these people? they are something else. Something different. They all come from broken homes. They are all injured and tired from battles. I look upon my shoulder. The water sorcerer looks dry as hell. She might need to go back into the water soon, and there is no lake or sea we can probably get to in time. The Phoenix looks tired, almost not capable of recovering. But she's slowly getting on her feet. Gosh, I don't even remember how it all begin. I don't even remember why we're all here. I never met these people, but I fought side by side with them as if we were a team for centuries. And maybe this is where I was wrong.

A cough from my right side made me turn my look there. The guy with the long gray hair, red eyes and pale skin, wearing a red T-shirt and a long white coat with Dark red pants and shoes, was coughing. He was slowly getting on his feet. No one was saying a word. We won, sure, but at what cost?

Behind him, a cybernetic-like girl was slowly getting up. She was missing a hand, and sparks came out of the missing parts. I turned my look to the ground, my blonde long hair is covering my face so no one can see me. I take a few moments to cool down, and get on my knees, then gets up. I look around me, as everyone still struggle to recover. "Is everyone Okay?" I asked. It was rather rhetorical, but I asked anyway. "I guess." The purple-skinned lady said, as her Phoenix-like wings disappeared, and she got off her knees. "Just missing a hand", the cybernetic girl said, showing her missing hand. "Nothing I can't fix though." she claimed. The long-haired guy walked towards us. "I'm fine," He said. "What about you, Sky?" He asked. I sighed. "I'm fine, too." I said. I suddenly heard the water-sorcerer coughing. "Aqua!" I called her name when I turned to her. I rushed to her side. She coughed more before she was able to talk. "I'm okay. I just need to go for a little swim." She said. I turned my look to the group. I do not know the city, so maybe they could help. "Anyone know where the nearest river is?" I asked. They all shrugged. This isn't going to be easy.

I was helping Aqua get up by letting her lean on me, while she was saying: "No need. Do you guys...own a bath? by any chance?" she asked. They all looked at each other. "I have one back in my ranted apartment." Phoenix said. We all nodded, as she turned and started walking, and we followed her. None said a word till we got there. I think we all can agree we need time to recover not just physically, but mentally too.

Later in Phoenix's apartment, Aqua was resting in the Bath, recovering, while we all mended our wounds. Metanite was curiously scanning the apartment. There were images of a white-haired magician. Her scan showed - This is Madame Fate herself. "So you're Madame Fate, Huh?" Meta asked, as Phoenix approached it. "The current Madame Fate, yes." Phoenix said, as she glanced at the image of the previous Fate. Meta turned to her. "Current? was there another one?" Meta asked. Phoenix sighed. "I don't really talk about it. But the Original Madame Fate is my mother." she explained. Meta was surprised. "Oh. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked." she said. Phoenix nodded. "Don't worry. Just... Just don't tell anyone, okay?" She asked, and Meta nodded in agreement, and they both went back to look at the pictures. Madame Fate was beautiful. Her hair was white as the clouds, her eyes are blue as the skies. Though at the moment Phoenix looks nothing like that, it seems she can transform to her mother's look to keep people in belief that she is still around.

Meta turned around to see a newspaper on the table, she walked towards this while Phoenix just stare at her Mother's image in pain. Meta reached the Newspaper and picked it up. The languange was unfamiliar, as it wasn't foreign. It wasn't from Earth. But it didn't take Meta long enough to translate it.

"Madame Fate has arrived on Earth at the year 1999, and was showing in New York's Local Circus. After becoming so famous, she started her own shows, and became rich, and a great success. There was no information on her family, though, to be found anywhere. It was just her. No one ever wondered though. Her natural magic made people fall in love with her. While performing on Earth, she could fulfill her duty as the protector of the Phoenix, her Daughter. Who is destined to become one with the Phoenix. Though time works differently between Amargo and Earth, she spent most of her time on Earth, as a Magician and a Hero to the people of the planet. One day, she disappeared without tracks. It is still unknown to this very day, if she is even alive." Meta nodded in sadness. She felt bad for Phoenix. Maybe she could help her look for her, but it has to come from her, And might be too early for this.

I was leaning against the wall as the long-haired guy walked towards me. "How you holding up?" He asked. I nodded. "I'm okay." I said, as he walked towards the wall in front of me and leaned against it. "You know, you never told me your name." I said. He smiled. "I'm Dean." He said. But that was it. I smiled back. "What a nice name, Dean! I'm Sky." I said. He nodded. "What a beautiful name, Sky." He said, making me blush. "Thank you." I said. "So, how long have you been playing with that bow?" he asked. I giggled. "I had it for years. I got it as a gift from mother nature herself." I explained. He kept listening, letting me talk for hours. And it made me feel so good. But why am I opening so much to a guy I just met? What's wrong with me? What happened to never trust anyone? Oh well.
