Part 25 - Parting

Khushi PoV

We reached the party venue. I was trying to walk but the gown was extremely heavy and the heels were extremely uncomfortable (refer to above pic).

I just slipped a bit thankfully Hardik held me the paps were busy clicking other people pics so thankfully it was not captured also we were away from the entrance.

"Can't you even walk like a lady have your mother not even taught you this" Hardik semi yelled.

Tears filled my eyes. How can he say so? Men will never understand the difficulty a women go through wearing such dress. They take time because their dress and make up and hair are complicated but men they just need to wear a shirt and a pant.

"Khushi I am telling this party is very important to me don't do anything that you ll regret later" Hardik said and pulled my arms and walked ahead.

I tried my best to manage the dress and walk gracefully. We were clicked by the paps soon. We went to the main hall.

Hardik was meeting different people. They were mostly talking about busses. I was just standing their like a statue.

Soon music started and people started dancing. A girl in extremely short and revealing dress asked Hardik for dancing and as usual he agreed.

They both were dancing. I just went near the table and sat on the chair.

"Hi beautiful " someone said

I looked away as the man was drunk.

"Hey pretty girl was your dad a boxer ?" He asked

I looked at him with confused expression and said "no but why?"

"Girl but you are damm knockout " he said

I made a disgusting face and looked away.

"Come on girl don't flatter yourself let's have a one ride" he said

"Sir I am married pls leave" I said

"So where is your husband? How can someone leave his beautiful wife alone here?" He said

Well I don't have the guts to tell him that my husband is dancing with some other girl so I just kept quiet.

"Baby let have one ride na" he said and held my hand

I removed my hand and rushed towards my husband.

He was still dancing but looking at me he left her and came towards me. A proud smirk came to my face but soon vanished as he utter the following words

"I hope you didn't whore around men"

I was about to say about the man incident to him but now I chose to avoid it.

"No sir" I said looking down

"Good let's have the dinner " he said while I just followed him like a lost puppy

We were sitting on the table and having our dinner. Suddenly the noodles feel from my fork luckily it didn't stain my dress cause I quickly picked it from my hand and kept it aside but my hands became dirty.

"Can't you even eat properly go and wash your hand fast we need to leave " he said and I nodded and left towards the washroom.

I didn't know where it was so I asked a waiter for it and he gave me the directions as I was waking towards the washroom I felt like someone was following me. I turned back and saw no one there.

I continued moving forward and finally reached the washroom gate but it was gents washroom.
A man came out I could not see his face as he was wearing a huge hat and he was looking down. Also he was smoking.
