The second semester has finally started, and I never would've thought in my life that I would enter it differently.
And I feel like he wouldn't even wait for my answer because every time I reply 'yes' to him, he's already on his way. My mom would easily be cheerful whenever Aiden's in the house, because he wouldn't go to us empty handed. It ranges from different types of food or beverages, and uhm something else for me. I would frequently tell him to not bring so much but he would always say that it's no problem.
I will let him borrow my camera and he would play around, sometimes stealing some shots of me, which I would instantly grab the camera and started deleting it. I would smile at the pictures as I looked at it.
"I would get my own camera one day. So that I can take pictures of you all the time," he said.
I wrinkled my nose as I looked at him. He would wink at me and then my mother would now call us to eat some snacks. He would keep teasing me and after that he would leave me with a kiss on the forehead. I would go up the stairs seeing the teasing look of my sister right before I enter my room. He would also text me every night.
Aiden:
I'm home already. Sleep well, Amavi. The smile on my face wouldn't leave.
I entered his car and put my seatbelt on. It's also going to be the first time that Aiden and I would go to uni together at the start of the semester, where many people would see us. I am already thinking that they might assume something. People would suspect on things they can see. And Aiden's a much known person. Not in a celebrity type of way, but enough to make people stop and stare at him. And if he's seen with a girl, gossip and rumors will spread. Nothing's going on... yet.
"Good morning," he greeted.
"Morning," I replied. He handed me an iced coffee before starting an engine. Ngumuso ako at tiningnan siya.
"Aiden, magkano ito?" I asked.
"Amavi," he pleadingly said, wanting me not to complain.
I sighed. Hindi ako magpapatalo.
"Lilibre rin kita mamaya."
He chuckled. "Amavi, you don't have to repay me."
"Pero kas-"
"I'm trying to court you okay? Unless you want to court me back then-"
I furrowed my brows. "'Di mo naman kailangan gumastos para manligaw Aiden," I reasoned out. I know that those are sweet gestures and I appreciate it yes, but he doesn't have to spend so much for me. Low maintenance naman ako. I'm not asking him to give me any materialistic thing. I am honestly contented with the way he gets to spend time with me.
And, I also seem to feel like I don't deserve what he keeps on doing to me. Kahit na nanliligaw pa lamang siya.
"I know. But I want to ok?" He plastered a smile and then glanced at me.
