Brandon and I decided to get coffee. We were currently in a small cafe that he liked.

I could see why Brandon loved the place. It was cosy and comfortable. It also had the best smoothies.

"...like this, my brother literally gets me in trouble every time." Brandon finished telling me a story about his brother.

We were laughing so hard clutching our stomachs and gasping for air.

"Oh god, I'm so glad that I'm a single child then." I say sobering up a bit.

"Oh, definitely. Anyway, do you like this place?" Brandon asks.

"I love it and the food is amazing." I say with a big smile.

"Then we should hangout again sometime. Shall we leave now?"

Stacy had texted me earlier that today was the last day she was in town so she wanted to go out and have some fun.

I explained Brandon that he didn't have to drop me home anymore because Stacy will pick me up.

Just then, my phone started ringing and I saw the caller ID, it was Harvey. I picked up.

"Are you out alone right now?" He said before I could say anything.

"Hello to you too." I said and rolled my eyes even though I knew he couldn't see me.

"Clary, you aren't safe. You didn't even tell anyone where you were going." Harvey continued ignoring my previous comment.

"It's fine. I'm with Brandon." I said trying to calm him down.

"You're with Brandon? That's supposed to make me feel better, how exactly?" He asked annoyed.

"I don't know." I say.

"Ugh okay. Just text me where you are, I can come and pick you up."

"No thanks, I'm going out with Stacy later and she'll pick me up too." I say dismissing his offer.

"Oh so you have a schedule for the entire day. Does it include me anywhere?" He asks. I can imagine him smirking right now.

"No, it doesn't, not today." I replied.

Just then Stacy texted me that she was here.

"Okay, gotta go. Stacy's here." I quickly said.

"Take care, please. Bye." He said and I ended the call.

I hugged Brandon and then went to Stacy's car waving him bye.

"But I thought that you were dating Harvey. Now, who's this guy?" Stacy asks while starting the car.

"I'm not dating Harvey. I'm not dating anyone and that's Brandon." I say.

I get ready for Stacy bombarding me with questions. She has never been the type to just let it go.

Stacy and I are now at a club called 'New Wave'. We went to Stacy's after she picked me up at the cafe and talked for a while. We then got ready and came here.

We had four-five shots of vodka because apparently 'you can't have fun until you let loose and consume alcohol

We had four-five shots of vodka because apparently 'you can't have fun until you let loose and consume alcohol.' Stacy's words, not mine.

We are dancing on the dance floor with a bunch of strangers. Stupid idea? I know but I'm too intoxicated to care right now.

Daniel. Daniel, was the only guy who's name I remember. He was actually really nice, not a good dancer but sweet.

We danced until my legs felt like they couldn't stand any longer. Me and Daniel went back and sat at the bar.

Stacy came back looking a little guilty. She told me that she was going back home with Trevor. I assured her that it was okay.

I already knew she was going to do this. She was with the blonde guy, the entire night and this was what she did every time when me and my friends came to some club.

The difference is that then Dean would drop me home but now I have to ask someone to give me a ride.

"If you want, I can drop you back home?" Daniel offered.

I'm drunk but not drunk enough to go home with a stranger. I don't think that Daniel would kidnap me or harm me in anyway, this cute guy wouldn't even hurt a bug but I still can't go home with a boy I met the same night.

"I would say yes but you're too drunk and I'm too young to die." I said. Well, this was the second reason why I couldn't go with him.

I called the only guy whom I thought was gonna come here to pick me up even at this hour.

If you guessed Harvey then you're absolutely right.

"Hey Harvey." I slurred.

"Clary, are you drunk?" Harvey asked already worried. That was quick.

"No, I'm not but can you come and pick me up here. If not, that's okay too. Daniel is fine with giving me a ride." I said. I didn't wanna disturb him if he was doing something important.

"Daniel? Absolutely not. Just tell me where you are and I'll be there." Harvey said. I could hear him getting up and walking out.

🌻

"So you gave this Daniel guy your number?" He asked and I didn't even wanna answer, I just wanted to sleep.

"Mmhmm." I said uninterested.

"You know he's a stranger. He could possibly be a murderer." He said looking at me for a moment before paying attention back to the road.

"Well, I did decline his offer to drop me and called you."

"Probably the best decision, you made the entire day."

"I think wearing this was the best decision." I said looking down at my dress.

"You know what I think?" He asked a minute later.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"Stacy is not a good company. Last time, you were crying because of her and now she abandoned you at this club." He said a little angrily.

"She's my friend." I defended.

"You do some dumb shit for friends, don't you?" He said in a low voice.

I wanted to ask him what he meant by that but I was too sleepy and it was the last thing I heard before passing out.
