Black posed for some seconds for the photoshoot just after the entrance,

Then beaming Kamal whose smile and pride knew no bounds politely entwined their fingers and the two walked futher in,

Black was aware of the attention on her, but it was something she has gotten use to and has always received where ever she goes, she mentally chuckle at that thought,

Just when the governor and his wife came up to her with smiles

"You made it" the woman who was also dressed fashionable and her beautiful slender figure was hugged perfectly by her flowing gown, unlike her husband who was round and fat, she was even taller than he his

"Ofcause, i gave you my word" Black said with the same light smile she came in with, still on her lips,

"Ranka shi dade (may you live long)", the governor greeted Kamal just as is supposed for someone royal, rich and popular in the north,

"Thank you your Excellency" Kamal replied and the two shake hands, he then turn to Black,

"Miss Black, am grateful you could grace us with your alluring self" he said as he took her hand and planted a kiss on it,

"Me too" was the short reply she gave still with the light smile, one will think she will be the one honored to be in the presence of a governor and his wife and will equally be eager to meet other governors that were invited,

But for someone who is observant, you will know, its the other way round, almost everyone was eager to be introduced to her,

Well everyone but Kamina, who was standing in the midst of some of her high class friends/mate,

Kamina was a beautiful lady with also a body figure to die for, her late father is a well known rich man, and she being the inlaws of another well known rich family and a wife to the dashing handsome Soldier earned her lots of envies amongst ladies

And tonight her gown, which was a red damask material, was appreciated by anyone who knows his fashion Chronicles, from the expenses to the designer,

And while the ladies and her mother inlaws friends fanned on how her gown looks so beautiful, she felt a little hope on hers and Sultan's relationship, she was in a good sprit as she joins in the conversation,

But not for long, any hope she felt, any Confidence she has, all squished to nothingness, because just like everyone else in the hall, her eyes also landed on Black's entrance,

She hated to admit, the kind of attention she commands, she hated to admit Black was the definition of beauty herself, she hated to admit all these and more,

Her eyes turned to find Sultan, and she saw just like his friends his eyes was starring at her, hungrily, she even noticed the way his grip on the wine glass has tighten, and how his other hand clench and unclench due to nothing but jealousy of seeing Black and a guy,

She didn't paid attention to the gushing the ladies with her are doing, she placed her glass on a passing tray and decided to walk to where her husband was, because just like the feeling of posseiveness and ownership had enveloped him, it has also enveloped her.

"So why don't i introduce you around" the governor readily asked Black

"No, i will like to the honors, she might easily get bored with the men" his wife quickly said with a fake warning smile at her husband, which Black found hilarious

"A lady of her caliber, is to introduced to men like us, not some gossiping women" he jokingly said but it wasn't a joke, the two laughed out laugh, which was obviously fake
