What? How?

As I have already mentioned the description, that I might take book references too, so, here it is, in the book series Warlock Ragnor Fell never died. I am using his character here. Hope you enjoy it.

Next morning, The Michealsons reached Alec and Magnus's house. Alec let them and went to bring Magnus down. Magnus seemed equally disoriented as anyone of them. After a long time of just staring at each other Klaus broke the silence by saying: "Why had you visited us yesterday?"

"Well, we were in New York since yesterday afternoon and had decided to meet our friends at a bar in evening. We were just talking to our friend when a few vampires dropped down dead, they had desiccated like someone had staked them, but, they had no wound. After that we got a call from the clave saying there were several vampires all over the world that had just dropped dead in the same way like the ones we saw in New York. Then I decided it would be better if I talk to you, I mean see if you had any idea of what this can be. But when we arrived, well, you know the rest." Alec explained all of them.

"So that means only Kol was staked for real? And all the other vampires just died? Just like that?" asked Rebecca after absorbing what Alec had just told her.

"Well I was thinking about that too, I've been going through the records last night and it seems like the vampires who died last night were from Kol's sire line. Which brings us to a conclusion that if an Original is killed the whole sire line of his dies with him." informed Alec.

"But why would anyone try that? I mean we've just established this fact, it is impossible for anyone else to know it." said Finn.

"Maybe that wasn't even considered by whoever killed Kol, he just wanted to kill him. The other vampires dying were just like collateral damage for him." observed Alec.

"There is something else you need to know. While I tried to get to Kol to save him, the man was using his magic, it was as if he was sucking the life out of Kol. When I tried to go near him, there was something in between, a barrier or something like that preventing me to get near them. And something else that I did not remember it till now was that the man had two colours for his magic, Blue and Red. If I remember correctly Magnus had told us that one warlock only had one colour of magic." Klaus continued turning in Magnus's direction, "I really apologize for everything I said yesterday, I just lost Kol and I saw cat eyes, I couldn't process anything else. I just hope you'll forgive me."

Magnus just got and hugged Klaus, he very well could understand how Klaus felt. Kol was like his little brother but he was Klaus's little brother. After few moments Magnus released him and sat beside his husband. After a long silence Magnus said: "I think Ragnor must know about these, because I've never heard anything like that before."

That made sense, Ragnor was way older than Magnus and would have a lot of sources to provide the information that they were seeking.

After sometime, At Ragnor's Place:

“RAGNOR! MAN OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!” yelled Magnus who now was starting to get impatient.
After a few moments Ragnor opened the door with an equally annoyed expression and said, “What do you want Bane? And why do you have such a huge company? I thought I told you not to worry me for another century.”
Magnus rolled his eyes at that, “You know I won't come like this if it wasn't so important and urgent.”
“Somebody better be dying Bane.”
“More like somebody's already dead.” replied Magnus and at this his eyes teared up.
Ragnor understood that this was something really important so he let them all in. Once everyone settled down Alec explained everything as it was.
After few long moments of absorbing everything Ragnor's expression turned from serious to horrified as he rushed into a room which everyone guessed was his library. After a long time and few loud thuds Ragnor came out with 2 books.
“First things first, 2 colours of magic are only possible when a warlock is born from demon of one realm and is raised or we can say nurtured in the other, where if the demon of the other realm wants to give him powers of his own then it's given, that way that warlock has powers of two different hell realms and thus two different coloured magic.” explained Ragnor, “Second you said he used his magic on your staked dying brother?” at this Klaus nodded so Ragnor continued, “So that means I can come and check the energy signature of the magic. Every Warlock's magic is like his/her fingerprint, it's unique. So I'll be able to tell you which two realms to see through.” with that he got up and everyone followed him to the Michealsons' house.

After sometime, At The Michealsons' house:

Klaus took all of them to the place where he had seen his brother with that warlock. Ragnor started checking the magical energy in that spot, he frowned and checked once again. He couldn't believe what was happening, Magnus understood his friend's expression and reached to help him. Ragnor asked Magnus to check the energy signature. As Magnus started to check the energy signature, it was like his world started shaking.
“Oh no no no. How is this even possible?” Magnus asked completely bewildered.
“What? What is it?” Alec asked seeing Magnus's horrified expression.
“The energy signature is close to my father's and the other one is from Duduael.” replied Magnus completely tensed yet confused.
“What? How? I mean you are the only child isn't it?” Alec asked now completely confused as his husband.
“Yes, but it seems like that's not true.” frowned Magnus, “I have a brother.”
