I have a brother the thought was running like a storm in Magnus's mind. Before any of them could react Magnus spoke again: "Why did Asmodeus never tell me? And did he want only me to come to Edom? He could've easily persuaded that guy to join him to rule Edom."
Everyone thought about this, that made absolute sense. Why was Asmodeus behind Magnus when he could have his other son? Amidst all this Ragnor was the fastest to process and answer it: "What if Asmodeus never knew he had a son except Magnus who survived? The energy signature shows presence of magic of Duduael. What if he had been there? I mean that makes sense. We just need to confirm the theory."
"Yeah, you are right we need to talk to someone who might know everything that happens in Duduael. We need to summon" Magnus was cut off by his husband completing his sentence.
"Azazel." completed Alec. Magnus just nodded.
Everybody exchanged glances, they knew this had to be done. But it was nonetheless big risk. Alec took a deep breath and finally said: "Okay. We'll do this but Magnus, don't you remember it was me who banished Azazel. Do you think he'll still help us?"
"I can't explain but I have a feeling that for some reason he will help us without much resistance." said Magnus.
After that they started to prepare for the summoning of Azazel in the backyard of the Michealsons house. Once it was ready everyone took their places Alec stood beside Magnus, giving him a wordless support to show he was always there and not for the first time Magnus thanked all the deities for Alec being in his life.
Magnus and Ragnor started chanting the spell for summoning Azazel. A black thick smoke came through the pentagram, followed by an unpleasantly calm voice: "Who summons me?"
"I did." said Magnus.
"Ah, I see. Hello there Magnus, I was quite expecting this."
"How did you know I'd summon you?"
"Because you are looking for that one answer which only I can give you."
"So you know what all happened?"
"Oh not exactly. But I know you want to know about your brother."
A silence creeped in Magnus was finding it hard to voice all his questions, so Alec took it from there.
"So you knew Magnus has a brother? Then you must be knowing why he killed Kol. And why didn't Asmodeus never knew about him." asked Alec voicing his husband's questions.
"Well, well, Hello to you too Alec. Now I'll tell you all a story that would answer all your questions once and for all. It was a long time ago, I stopped keeping a track after a few centuries. Just so you have an idea, it was centuries before Magnus was born. As you know to have warlocks born, the demons disguise as the husband of the woman in order to have the woman bare their child. So, once when Asmodeus tried to mislead a Nephilim woman, she had recognised that it wasn't her husband, but, instead of banishing him, she asked him to mate her in his real form. When a demon mates in his real form, the child inherits twice the abilities and a child formed by disguise. So when the child was born, it was only twice as powerful in demon abilities but he also had angel blood in him. which made him almost invincible. I had visited earth during the time that child lost his mother. I took him in as my own and raised him in Duduael. Asmodeus always thought the child died. I did not only raised him but granted him the powers of Duduael. When we heard about Edom, was the first time the boy asked me about his family. I told him everything I knew about Asmodeus and his living family. I can still remember the tear that rolled down his cheek when he came to know that he has a brother. He came here just for you Magnus, to meet his younger brother." explained Azazel.

"Then why did he not come to me to talk? And why did he kill Kol?" asked Magnus after processing what Azazel had just told them.

"I don't know the answer to these questions. I can only give you a gist of why he did not come and talk to you but I don't know why he killed that vampire boy." said Azazel.

"So why do you think he did not come and talk to me?" asked Magnus fighting back the tears threatening to spill.

"Because he was terrified that you may reject him." said Azazel.

By now Magnus was crying because for once in his life he found out that he had a brother, his own real brother, his own family. Magnus did not love his created family any less but having a real sibling, he felt was a boon, it may be because of watching his husband's relation with his siblings but it had a sense of security that no relation could be compared to. But, only to know that his brother had killed that one boy who he for centuries treated like his own little brother. How much more messed up can this get? Magnus thought to himself and sighed.

"One last question." said Magnus. Azazel just nodded him to go on.

"What's his name?" asked Magnus.

"Aloysius." said Azazel.
