Warnings: talk of self harm, bandaged wounds, let me know if I missed any.
Here it is guys, the end of the book!
Remus POV:
On the way to Roman, I felt dizzy. I couldn't get a good look at the house. But I knew where we were.
We were near the back of the Darksides mindscape. The darkest corner.
If Roman was with him I don't know what I'd do. Even though I was the younger twin, and usually the one who needed protecting as a child, I still grew to be just as protective of my brother as he was for me once.
And if he had him. He would pay the price.
Once we were in the house, I must've passed out in Thomas's arms. Because I don't remember anything else.
Until I woke up.
That was a game changer.

I started feeling conscious again. The first thing I heard was Janus's voice. Who was he talking to?
...Roman?
Was he ok? I hope so.
I tried to open my eyes, struggling only a little less than I thought I would.
They seemed to notice my small movement, and stopped talking.
Finally I managed my eyes open and was greeting with Janus's face above me. I must've been laying in his lap.
"Hey Rem..." He said.
"Hey Jan..."
"R-Remus..." Came a voice I would have never recognized if it weren't for my eyes. He sounded so shy and nervous. He could hardly look at my eyes. I knew that look anywhere, but I never thought I'd see it on him.
"I'm sorry," he said, right before bursting into tears. "I was such a terrible brother. I was so rude to you and you didn't deserve it. You were just doing your job and I didn't realize how much of a jerk I was until I thought I would never see you again!"
"Hey," I told him, getting up and carefully walking to sit next to him. "It's fine... You're forgiven. I'm just so glad you're ok!"
Suddenly he threw his arms around me and sobbed into my chest. I hugged him back and, admittedly, cried a bit myself.
Crash
I looked to where the sound can't from. Virgil had dropped a plate of cookies, probably out of shock, was staring at us, a smile creeping into his face.
I didn't like that look at all.
"PATT!" He yelled. Oh geeze, Patton's never gonna let this go if he sees this. I tried to pry Roman off me, but his arms were trapped around mean and his face was sideways on my chest, stuck like glue.
Brotherly moment: ruined
"What is it kiddo? Is everything okaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..... THIS IS SO CUTE!"
Wish me luck. T^T

"Hey Remus?"
"Yeah Ro?"
"Um, have you been... Cutting yourself?"
"...oh, you saw the scars?"
"Yeah..."
"I did for a while, but Jan and Remy found out and put a stop to it."
"Ok, I'm glad you're better."
"Me too.... Wanna prank Patton?"
"Hell yeah!"
*******************
"MOVIE NIGHT!" Virgil screamed.
"Ughhhh." Roman and I groaned in unison.
Virgil glared.
"No, we're not watching The Night Before Christmas." He said.
And just like that, we were all huddled up on the couch, watching Mulan. I was sitting in between Roman and Janus, the latter who's head was resting on my shoulder while watching the movie.
Roman seemed to notice Jan and I. So when the movie ended, he asked us, right in front of everybody, "Are you guys dating"?
Janus being flustered is the cutest thing ever. And so, to fluster him even more, I responded with "Yes, why?"
Earning surprised looks from everyone. Especially Janus, who's face was beet red.
Roman seemed to catch on to what I was doing, and decided to try and make me flustered about it.
"Prove it."
For a moment, I was flustered. But quicky moved on from it and turned to Janus, giving him a quick peck on the lips and turning back to my twin.
"Satisfied?"
"Yep."
"Y'know what, I'm not gonna question that."

RomanceThe dark sides were always close, but Remus had never talked about how he really felt. Alone. Disturbing. And how he never was really happy with the way he was treated by Thomas and the others. Especially Roman.
