~°Akum's POV°~
My secrets are extraordinary,
They are beautiful.I tap my legs impatiently, staring out the tinted glass with a frown on my face.
"Kunle can you hurrry up? I'm going to be late for school. Those stupid seniors will start their drama and I'm certainly not ready!" I order angrily.
"Ma, it's the go slow," he replies and I roll my eyes as he finally parks the car in front of Crimson High.
Finally!
"2pm. Don't be late," I sigh, come down from the car and walk into the school. Everything's a bit rowdy now that parents are running late for work and the go slow isn't helping one bit.
I thank my stars the SS3 students aren't yet at their stupid posts and immediately, I scurry off to the secondary building and keep climbing the stairs till I reach the SS2 class.
"Why did you come late?" Abim asks as I drop my bag on the seat and open my locker for my gym clothes. The class was empty, excepting I and Abim.
"Long story and I'm just three minutes late, mind you," I correct and lock my locker, holding my gym clothes in my hand with a smile.
"Let's go,"
"You're going for sports?" she asks with a horrified look on her face.
"Why not?" I ask and pull her.
"I don't want to go!" she whines and drags her body back.
"But you have to," I snap and drag her all the way to the toilet for a change.
We both change into our respective clothes. Mine is a white shirt and pink pants while hers is a simple black sweatpants and a blue T-shirt. We both tie our laces and stare at the huge mirror plastered on the wall.
"So, did you think about my Noah offer?" Abim chatters with a hopeful smile.
"Not even in a thousand years," I snort and pull her again to go out.
"I'm coming, I'm coming. I want to use the toilet," she excuses herself and runs into one of the stalls in a hurry.
I roll my eyes in disbelief.
"I'm off!" I yell and open the door and immediately, the human that stands before me freezes me to death.
"Hi," Noah says with a smile, revealing his beautiful piano white teeth and flashing off his delicate contacts that made me question where mine came from. He runs his hand through his soft curly hair most people call goals in an attempt to get me. He is damn wrong.
Although Noah doesn't say it or boast about it,I presume he's from a wealthy family.
"And how can I help you?" I ask after recovering, folding my arms tightly against my chest.
He smiles. "I heard Nonso dumped you for Regina. So - "
Can news be confidential even for a week in Crimson High?
"And how is that your business?" I spit irritably.
"Chill. I'm just - "
"First of all, Noah. Nonso didn't dump me. Second, I've seen better than that Regina. And third, i'm not interested," I scoff and sigh.
"Calm down," he whispers and runs his palm on my shoulder.
"Ahem." Abim coughs. "Love nwantiti ooh..." she sings.
