Picture of Jamal above...

It's not surprising how Ozor won the competition today. To be honest, I should've placed a bet. I'd be a thousand naira richer by now. Whatever.....
After the long celebrated first round win, everybody has dinner and after that, everybody commences to talking in the corridor hallways or just hanging around.
Jamal for one has been staring at me since we got to meet them yesterday. I know what we're doing is wrong but every time I set my eyes on Jamal Kevin, I forget what's right and good. Unlike Eve, I don't know what good and evil anymore and all I wanted to do during that dinner was just grab him tight but that wasn't possible. His girlfriend was around and..it was very inappropriate.
After the dinner, I excuse myself from Abim, Chantelle and Akum and walk away. I know he is following me but I quicken my steps down the stairs and land in the swimming area.
After some minutes, I turn my back and stare at the love of my being, Jamal Kevin. He has on his blue Brianna Academy uniform and blue ripped jeans and his hair perfectly made. He smiles with perfectly shaped pink lips as he walks over to me and grabs me immediately.
"Jamal, we both know this isn't right," I say softly, pushing him away even if my heart doesn't consent to my brain's decisions.
"Then why are you here in the first place?" he asks somewhat mockingly. "You want to swim?" he jokes and chuckles in a way I find adorable.
"Jamal...." I say and before I can complete a sentence, he grabs me. I'm afraid someone may barge in on us or something but I guess Jamal isn't. We keep pushing through until we land ourselves in the locker room.
Ever since I was in Brianna Academy, Jamal and I had something in common. Ignoring each other in front of everyone but sneaking all over highschool like lovers for just a moment to ourselves. His girlfriend, Imade, has never had a clue about it and I really didn't want to care either. After all, Jamal and I made up our minds to go to Babcock university together and Imade well, made plans for Veritas.
The only light turned on is the dimmest one in the locker room. It goes on and on and I completely forget the world exists. Jamal is just...perfect.
All of a sudden, I hear the knob turn and then open. It all happens so fast and the figure standing in my front makes my blood feeze. My eyes pop and my lips chap immediately.
Jamal is just as surprised as I am as he looses his hold on my waist and we both stare.
"G - girls?" Akum says, stuttering.
Girls?
I see Chantelle and Abim walk to us immediately and now, the five of us stare, surprised at each other. No one says a thing. I doubt if anyone has a thing to say. One thing I'm sure of is, I don't.
"Wh - what?" Chantelle blurts in confusion, her eyes somewhat squinted.
"It's not what you think," Jamal says, staring at all of them.
"Why?" Abim asks me and my tongue gets stuck in my throat.
"Waje?.....Jamal..." Akum manages to say before turning back and slowly walking away.
