May stood at the end of the hallway watching Edward and Bella talking. She knew how this would end how Edward would walk away and how he would save her. She stood in place eating for him to storm away. The seconds counting down in her head. '5...4...3...2...1' and just like that she had felt the pressure of his hand on her arm dragging her with him through the glass doors of the school. "She's something special Edward" May stated as Edward sped walked through the lot May walking next to him in sync. "How do you know that May? What if she just causes troubles?" he asked his voice small a voice he had only ever used this her. "She may with the family but she's special remember that." She stated as she took her place next to him standing in front of the Volvo. 

The swan girl across the lot watched the two Cullens both of them looking back. They seemed to be the closest of the Cullens that was what she had noted about them. They both also seemed to have the same ticks about them. They had a habit of running their hands through their hair.

The swerving of a van had knocked the swan girl out of her thoughts as it was going towards her. Her eyes widened and Edwards thoughts were solely on saving her. May had let him go.

The way to the hospital May drove and fast seeing that Edward was antsy to see the swan girl. May parked the car rather quickly and watched as Edward made his way to the hospital doors. She closed the door to her side and locked the car with the keys. She slowly strolled into the hospital taking her time. She knew of the fighting that was happening with in the walls of the hospital and that she would be needing to take sides. She made her way to sit down in one of the chairs near the reception waiting for the rest of her family to come. No doubt Rosalie fuming about what just happened. The youngest Cullen looked to her nails deciding what color to paint them in her mind. 

Edward had walked out of a room no question as to that's where Bella was. He had made eye contact with May and just with the look in his eye could he sense her panic. Edward had messed up he'd known that but he didn't know what he would do with himself if May was angry with him. 

The blonde Hales and their mates arriving and now Edward had knew why May was so tense. He was about to get an earful.
