Time passed slowly as wind blew through the meadow the faint sent of a certain human tickling her nose each time it did. Edward had taken Bella here. Anger bubbled within May she couldn't help it. How could he have taken her here? To their spot? More or so May's then Edward's. Her eyes snapped shut focusing on the sounds of bugs crawling on the forest floor. Morning would come and the human would meet the family officially.

Was it safe to say she hated the human now? Maybe, it was the fact that May knew that the human would permanently ruin May and Edward, their duo, their relationship. A big secret never to be revealed and all May could do is get over it. He would always choose her over May in any given situation and it hurt it was frustrating, the kind of frustration that builds from the front of your head to your eyes, that made you want to scream but only pushed tears would form ,but in May's case never fall.

The darkness in her eyelids lightened as she soon found herself having stayed in the meadow all night. She looked to the sky and saw the clouds forming. "Thunderstorm", she said softly to herself. Skipping out on this day seemed like a great idea, going to spend the day with Toby seemed to brighten her mood slightly and soon excitement took place at the thought.

She wouldn't deny it she'd grown to care deeply for the boy long ago. She opened her eyes to look upon the brightening dark sky. This was it change was to come and May wouldn't do anything to change it.

In the blink of an eye May had flashed and ran just as the trees met the Cullen home. She could hear the preparations being made for the special event more specifically the kitchen. Walking at a human pace May entered the home as everyone stopped to look at her but she simply didn't look to them going up to her room but as soon as she reached the door Alice swung by grasping her arm.

"We're playing baseball today, you know Edward would want you on his team." Alice spoke. She probably had a vision of May choosing to go hang out with Toby instead. "I don't think I would want to be on his team, besides isn't Isabella going to be there...I want no part in this activity Alice." She said coldly. Though it didn't do anything to faze the smaller vampire. She simply shoved a jersey in May's hands and gave May a look. It seemed she couldn't get her way out of meeting the human she now resented.

May laid in the cream colored sheets of her messy bed the soft pink medium sized bear sitting underneath her arm some of its head resting on her chest. Her hair soft and gently curled to frame her face and the mattress underneath her head. She looked alluring and captivating but the pain that swirled in her eyes brought question to anyone who were to look at her at this very moment.

May sat still looking at celling her baseball jersey similar to Edward and Carlisle's slightly too big on her. Her slim fingers played with the bears ears softly. She could hear them coming and soon she would have to put on a show downstairs. She lifted off the bed leaving the bear to lay where she once did. She looked herself over in the mirror a navy long-sleeved shirt under the jersey navy sweats to accompany them. Her white shoes and charcoal socks to accompany it.

May made her was towards the kitchen seeing everyone except Alice, Jasper and Edward of course work on something. Rosalie was tossing a salad and Emmett seemed to be cutting something up. May's eyes had gone black due to not having hunted in weeks. Before she could look to find Alice the door opened and the sent of Isabella Swan had set in. May straightened immediately at the strong burning sensation that took place.

"Here comes the human," though May didn't care to register who it was her mind only on blocking Edward out and not going to kill the human.

Edward walked awkwardly with her in tow her cheeks flushed red and her lips in a pressed thin line. Her heart rat increased more than it had been previously as her wide eyes landed on the Cullen's that stood in the kitchen. May stood watching the two next to Rosalie.

"Those are my siblings Emmet and Rosalie these are my parents for all intents and purposes Esme and Carlisle and this is May." Edward stood pointing to each respected name and role. Esme, Carlisle, and emmet all smiled but May and Rosalie had decided not to. Bella's eyes stayed on May a bit longer than the rest watching as May stood still her back straight and her eyes pitch black.

"Bella! you've given us an excuse to use the kitchen." Carlisle started

"We hope you like Italian." Esme added

"She already ate."

The sound of a bowl shattering had sounded through all ears.

"Of course she did ," Rosalie spat.

"Are we all going to ignore the trouble this could put us into if it ends badly," she said again.

"Rosalie," Carlisle said.

it seemed he would be doing that a lot more often.

"It could get us killed!" she pushed

"I mean you guys have gone public now so..." Emmet tried to defend Rosalie.

"Enough," Carlisle said firmly.

May's ears picked up on what Edward had whispered to Bella "Just ignore Rosalie, I do." That seemed to set Rosalie off as she huffed and stormed out walking over the glass and salad that now laid on the floor Emmet followed Rosalie as she left leaving May and the two parental figures with the two. Though before anything else could be said Alice and Jasper had entered and seemed to glide gracefully to the human.

She blinked rapidly and bit her lip as to keep up with what was happening in front of her. Though May zoned out her eyes wondered around the room she knew so well as she read Jaspers thoughts bored with what was happening.

His thoughts consisted of Alice trying to take his mind off his hunger for the blood that was pumping through Bella's veins. It was sweet how much he loved Alice. May's eye's lazily dragged on not caring much what they landed on though when her eyes landed on Edward's she snapped back realizing Alice was still talking to Bella about something. They held eye contact and May rolled her eyes looking into his mind.

'why haven't you hunted? You knew she was coming,'

May opened her mind up to Edward allowing him to read her thoughts for the first time in weeks

'I was hoping to get out of this, perhaps put a better use to my time'

A hardened look came over his face and May blocked her mind back up again not caring what he had to say to her after. It wouldn't make a difference.
