I was in my room, doing my homework.
Keyword, trying. My minds was still racing, going over that had just happened a few hours ago. But I tried not to over think and concentrate.
It was late evening now, and our classes were over. Wooyoung and I were in our room, attempting to do our homework.
Well, I was actually making an effort while Wooyoung was just playing Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery on his phone, his tongue poking out in concentration.
I rolled my eyes adoringly and then averted my eyes back to my textbook as Wooyoung cheered after passing a level.
After a few minutes, I gave up with a huff, resting my head down on my books.
I can't stop thinking about Seonghwa.
Not that I ever stop thinking about him for a second ever since I saw him, wow that sounds so Jane Austen, ugh, but today's events were playing again and again in my head.
As if I thought Seonghwa couldn't be any more perfect, he proved me wrong yet again.
Seonghwa actually recognized me when we bumped into each other. He traded me like a normal person, he treats us all here like that.
But most of all, him giving me two apples instead of my usual one touched me. I decided non to look too much into it though, but I kinda was.
Seonghwa was just being nice, that's how he is. A helpful, caring soul.
He didn't give me an extra apple because he likes me, but because he wanted to apologize for bumping into me.
I'm not someone special to him. I'm just a patient here and--- damn here I go again with the overthinking!
I pulled back form my desk and trudged over my bed, falling face-first in it.
A few seconds later, Wooyounf poked me from his own bed beside me, and I looked up.
Wooyoung rolled his eyes. "Cmon. Speak up. What's on your mind?", He signed, the snickered at his bad pun.
I rolled my eyes, pushing myself into a sitting position.
"Stop overthinking about Seonghwa. He wants you. Trust me!", Wooyoung added cheekily, leaning his chin on his knuckles
I scoffed yet again, pulling at the sleeves of my sweatshirt.
"I'm overthinking this, Wooyoung. He just offered me that apple because he was being nice", I ran my fingers through my hair, "But I'm looking too much into this. He's an adult, a teacher here and I'm just a stupid kid infatuated with him and God, why did he have to be so perfect!", I put my face in my hands.
Wooyoung stayed silent for a few seconds then patted my shoulder, making me look at him.
"That's kinda true. He's older than you, wow-- and sorry, not helping", Wooyoung sheepishly put his hands down, rubbing them together.
"But!", Wooyoung jumped,"Just stop thinking about that. Maybe he does like you, you're so pretty. And if he doesn't, make him like you. Simple." Wooyoung crossed his arms with a triumphant smirk.
Maybe Wooyoung is right. But the first thing I gotta do is stop overthinking this. Just try to be friends with Seonghwa and see what happens from there.
The apple incident was a start, right?
"Thanks Wooyoung", I signed, leaning over and squeezing my best friend in a tight hug, who patted my head sweetly.
I knew I felt something for Seonghwa. His positive, caring aura attracted me like it attracted every person who interacted with Seonghwa, but I knew this was something different for me,
I knew it wasn't just a little crush.
