Chapter 14

I glanced at them when Jordan and I walked outside the building. They only gave a little glance and flashed a smile then walked away every time they met me. After the incident with Aiden, they didn't greet me as usual. Only stole a glance and flashed a little smile. It seemed like, they didn't want to make any trouble since Jordan always with me. Things with Jordan went well. He always picked me up if we had class at the same hour. He gave flower regularly when we went on a date. And we also did couple date together with Hannah, Lana, Naomi and their boyfriends. He was very sweet guy and very welcomed to my friends, exclude the trio. I still didn't get the answer of why he dislike them. But that's okay. He would tell me if the time was right. And my feelings toward him had grown into special feeling, although it was still not love. I just knew it was not love. But I liked him more than a friend.

We had been in relationship almost 1 month at that day when he was helping me with my assignment in my room.

"How about this?" I asked him while clicking on the mouse, showing my assignment. We sat on the carpet and I used small table to place my laptop.

"Which one?" He scooted closer to me and looked at the laptop screen. "Yes, like that and that". He showed me while moving the mouse.

"Ok," I nodded and focused back to my assignment.

All of sudden he kissed me on the cheek. His sudden kiss made me startle. I snapped looking at him and leaned backward to create some distance between us. I could feel my eyes questioning his act. My heart started beating faster than its regular heartbeat.

"What's wrong, Natalie? " he asked frowning his eyebrow.

"I'm sorry. I'm just surprised," I said while inhaling a deep breath to calm my racing heartbeat.

"We've been dating for 1 month, Natalie. It's supposed to be normal if I kiss you right now," He said with a smile.

"Yeah. You are right," I said, smiling nervously at him then looked back at my assignment. I gulped; I could feel he was staring at me.

"May I kiss your cheek again?" he asked.

"Um.., " I turned my head to see him. His eyes darkened and stared at me. I was so nervous under his stare.

"Please Natalie. Just cheek," He said. I paused for a while, then nodded hesitantly. It is just cheek. I turned my head then looked back to my assignment. I inhaled and exhaled. Inhaled and exhaled and did it over and over again to calm myself. It is Jordan. He is your boyfriend. You need to stay calm.

I could feel that he leaned closer to my right cheek and started kissing it gently. His breath hit my cheek. His right hand moved to my left cheek while his left on my hips, pulling me closer to him. I gulped and tried to calm my nerve. My assignment was abandoned at the moment. He kissed again and again at different spot on my cheek. I clenched the mouse. My heart kept racing every time he planted kiss on my cheek. His kiss trailed to my jawbone then my neck. His left hand pulled me closer until my arm was leaning against his chest. He started to rub my thigh. His kiss become more passionate. My breath become shorter in every breath that I took to calm myself.

"Jordan," I said while trembling lightly. He started to kiss my collarbone.

"Jordan. I .. please," I pleaded at him. I felt uncomfortable with his touch. His left hand started to slip beneath my shirt.

"Jordan!" I shoved him away and stood up abruptly making the small table flip over and my laptop tumbled to the carpet.

My breath panted heavily, and my hand was still trembling. I put my hand around my chest as if it was my protection.
