I told Lana, Naomi, and Hannah about what happened last night with Jordan. They were very angry and upset with him. Even Hannah wanted to tell Hayden about it, but I stopped her. I didn't want to cause any ruckus and I didn't know if Hayden would defend his friend or Hannah. It was better to keep it just the four of us, and also the trio.
On Monday, I went to the campus early with Naomi and Alex because I didn't want to meet Jordan. He phoned and texted me on Sunday, but I ignored it. I didn't pick up his phone or replied to any of his messages. And I spent the whole Sunday at Hannah and Lana's place, in case Jordan came to my apartement. I didn't want to meet him at that moment. I was very upset with him. How could he do that to me? He kicked me out from his apartment in the middle of the night just because I didn't give in to his desire.
During lunch time, we sauntered to the cafeteria to grab lunch. I was joking with my friends while walking then bumped to Lana who suddenly stopped on her track.
"What's wrong?" I looked at her then averted to the front where our usual table located. There were 5 bouquet of flowers lay on top of the table. Jordan was standing with a rose bouquet. He was smiling apologetically at me. Part of me wanted to squeal with happiness because of his treatment, but part of me was still upset with him.
People were looking at me. I walked approaching him, crossed my arm, and looked at him.
"What do you want?" I asked him curtly.
"I'm sorry, Natalie," He said, giving his apologetic look. "I'm sorry for pushing you to your limit. I'm sorry for saying those harsh word to you. Please forgive me," He said with sad looks.
Everybody started chanting 'forgive him', 'forgive him' like in a chicklit movie. It tempted me to roll my eyes, but I didn't do it. I glanced at the trio who were already at their seats. There was no smile nor any amusement on their face. Only serious and stern expression were on their face. I wanted to see at Lana, Naomi, and Hannah but it was going to look weird. I knew it was all on me who decided.
"Please give me one more chance, Natalie," He said again, pleading at me.
"One more chance?" I repeated what he said.
"Yes, Natalie. One more chance. I won't break it again,"
I looked into his eyes, searching for lie or insincerity in his eyes, but I couldn't find it. There was hesitation inside me to forgive him after what he did to me. But my feelings toward him blurry my judgement. I like him. I really did at that time. And every people deserved a second chance.
Taking a deep breath, I replied at him "Ok," I said without smile on my face.
He grinned widely then handed the bouquet for me and tried to hug me. But I stepped backward avoiding his hug. He just smiled and nodded, understood with my cold treatment. My friends and I continued to walk to our table. People were cooing and catcalling, whistling at us. Jordan smiled and grinned widely, saying thank you for the support to them. I only flash tight smile at him and the people.
I looked at Lana, Naomi and Hannah. They only gave me weak smile, without any further response. I knew they would always support my decision. I hope I don't make any wrong decision again.

It had been three days after the incident at Jordan's apartment. I was taking my backpack after tying up my hair when my eyes caught a green army jacket. It was Caleb's jacket. I forgot to return it to him after I washed it.
I took the jacket, fold it, and looked for paper bag to bring the jacket. Once I found it, I stuffed the paper bag with the jacket then stuffed it into my backpack. There was a knock on the door when I was stuffing the jacket. I zipped my backpack, slung it to my shoulder then walked to the door and opened it.
"Hi,"
"Morning Natalie," Jordan said, giving me a flower.
"What is this?"
"Just a good morning greeting for a beautiful lady," He said with big wide smile on his face.
"Thank you," I chuckled.
"Lets go," He said taking my hand into his.
"Wait. I want to put this flower on the table first," I said. He released my hand then I strode inside the room and placed it on the table together with another flower from him. Everyday since the incident, Jordan had been given me something sweet and romantic things for me, either chocolate, cake, or anything else. He really wanted to pay for his mistake towards me with his sweet attitude. It kinda worked though. After arranging the flower neatly on my desk, I walked outside the door, locked the door, and held his hand.
"Lets go," I said smiling widely at him.

During lunch time, I looked at the table where Caleb usually sat with his friends. They had not come yet.
"Why are you looking that way?" Jordan asked.
"I'm looking for Caleb," I said turning my head to look at him.
"Why?" His face tensed when he heard his name.
"Remember that night when you kicked me out from your apartment and let me walk alone in the middle of the night?" I said glowering at him. He stiffened then looked around us hopping no one would hear that, then nodded.
"They saved me. He lent me his jacket to cover me due to my cloth," I said. I grimaced and gritted my teeth remembering the feeling of that night, the hopeless and terrify feelings. I shook my head quietly to diminish it.
His jaw tightened after I say that, but he didn't say anything. I glanced to the table and saw the guys already sat on their usual seats. I took out the paper bag from my backpack, rose from my seat, then walked towards their table.
" Caleb," I called out for him. He turned his head, tugged a smile while looking at me.
"Hey. What's up?" he said.
I looked at Aiden and Owen, and other guys on the table whilst smiling at them. I held out the paper bag.
"Thank you," I said.
"What is this?" Caleb asked then opened the bag. "Oh, my jacket. You should keep it. It looks good on you though," He said with a smirk.
"Cliché flirt, " I snorted and clicking my tongue. They snickered hearing my response.
"Too late Caleb. I can't accept it again. It will cause trouble for us if I accept it," I motioned to Jordan who was sitting at our seats.
"He is looking at us, isn't it?" I asked them. My back was at Jordan, so I could not see his expression without turning my head over my shoulder, which would looked weird and suspicious if I did that.
"Glaring is more precise word to describe what he is doing right now," Owen exclaimed.
"If glare could kill, there would be massive dead right now," Aiden said. I punched his arm playfully, stifling my laugh.
"I better back to my seat now," I said cocking my head to the side.
"Do you have to?" Aiden said.
"Yes," I said frowning at his statement.
"Aww.. but we still miss you," Caleb cooed.
"Don't!" I hissed at them, raising my index finger to warn him. His friends from his department chuckled at the trio. A chuckle and snickered were heard when I spun around walking away from them heading back to my seats. A small smile formed on face after meeting them. They always managed to make me smile.
When I arrived at my seats, Jordan was waiting for me with sour face. I pretended I didn't see his face, then proceeded to sit beside him and let out a smile.
"Don't you want to eat?" I asked him, motioning to his food that still untouched.
A nod was the only answer from him. I could see he stole a glance from the corner of his eyes to the trio across us then started eating his meal.
