That day was my first day as college student. I was very nervous because in my department, there were student orientation for 3 weeks.

I stayed at the dorm near the campus so I didn't need car or could use public transportations if I needed to go to other place. The journey to my campus only needed 5-10 minutes, depended on the pace that I used.

One thing I just realised when I arrived at the hall of the Engineering Faculty for student's orientation was majority of students were male population. I was not good with opposite gender well not just opposite but with people. I needed time to deal with people especially opposite gender.

I braced myself to meet all my friends in my major. The comparison between boys and girls were 2 : 1. Looking around, I tried to find known and familiar face. Then I saw her, "Hannah!" I called her name. Hannah was my highschool friend. We were not close friend in highschool, but I knew her.

"Thank God I knew someone," she said sighing in relief.

"Me too," I exclaimed.

Then there was someone standing on the stage in front of us. All new students sat on their seat instatnly when they saw him.

"Welcome," He said.

"My name is Parker. I am the President Council of Engineering Faculty. For 3 weeks, you all will be in orientation period. You will be divided into different group that consist of different major. You will get additional assignments besides the assignment from your major. The purpose of it is for creating bonding, cooperation, and you get to know other major. At the end of the orientation there will be celebration party to close it. Remember, those assignment need to be done and submitted on the due date. We will assess those assignment and reported it to the dean to know how you work in group with other majors. The group which you will be joined, are already sent it to your email. Please check it right now".

All students took their phone and check their email. I checked my email and saw it. I was in group 10.

"There are seniors around you who bring a number of your group. Those seniors will be your mentor group during the orientation. Now, class is dismissed. Please headed to your group now," He smiled. All freshman stood up and started walking to senior who raised and wave a piece of paper with a group number.

I asked Hannah " what group do you got?"

"5. You?" Hannah replied.

"10," I replied with a dissapointing voice.

We sighed. "I really wish that we could be on the same group Hannah".

"Me too,"

But like it or not, we had to follow the arrangement. After saying goodbye with a promise that we would go to the first class together, we separated in our way heading to our group. I looked around searching for number 10. And I saw it. I walked approaching the senior who raised paper with 10 written on it. There were already 8 people in the group chatted with each other.

"Whats your name? "The senior asked me.

"Johnson. Natalie Johnson"

Then he looked at his list. I greeted and introduced myself to my group mate. There were already 5 guys and 4 ladies in our group. Some of them from the same major.

"We still wait for 1 person again". He looked up from the list and his expression change.

I felt someone was standing behind me.

"Your name?"

"Smith, Jackson". I looked behind me and there was standing tall guy with short cut black haired. He stood with little hunch. I tugged a little smile but quickly wiped it out from my face then turned my attention back to the front again.
