Because we were officially a couple, the next day Jordan sat beside me during lunch. He said that he wanted to accompany me whilst getting acquainted with my friends, although I knew the real reason was, he wanted to imply the announcement to my friends and the people around us. The ladies giggled and congratulated us when he was sitting with us.
I was talking with my friends while eating our lunch when I saw the trio walked inside the cafeteria. The trio walked while chatting with their friends. They stopped their talk then averted their gaze to look at me when they were passing by.
"Hi Nat," Owen greeted and nodded while walking to their usual table.
"Hi Natalie," Aided nodded and glanced at Jordan.
"Nat," Caleb greeted as if didn't want to lose with his friends, so he added a grin and wiggled his eyebrow. Three of them walked and sat at their seats then continued to talk with their friends.
I chuckled and shook my head, then glanced at Jordan who was eyeing them.
"Why are you looking at them like that?" I asked him who was still looking at the guys.
"I don't like them, " he replied without looking at me. I looked at the table across us. The guys were joking with their friend, shoving playfully and laughing.
"Why? They are nice," I asked. He averted his gaze to look at me. I looked at him and raised my eyebrow questioning his statement.
"Let's go on a date this weekend," he said smiling at me.
"You didn't answer my question, Jordan,"
"My answer is not important". He said. "Do you want to go on a date this weekend?"
I narrowed my eyes at him with suspicion in my mind. And was returned by a childish smile to persuade me so I wouldn't ask further detail about his dislike to the guys. As his smile grew wider, my heart was getting warm so I gave up on thinking about his reason.
"Ok". I agreed with him eventually.
"Great," he replied with big wide grin.

Saturday
There were knocks at my door, when I was reading a book waiting for Jordan. I put the book on my desk then strode to the door and opened it. There was a bouquet of flowers in front of me. My lips were tugged into a wide smile. When I was admiring the flower, Jordan peeked from behind it. His face was adorned with his trademark smile."Flower? Really?" I chuckled.
"Why? You don't like flower? "
"Never got one before. But I like it,"
"Cliché isn't it?" He grinned.
"Yeah. But it is sweet. Thank you," I accepted the flower from him. My smile grew wider into a grin. I spun around to walk on my desk and place the flower on top of it. After arranging the flower on my desk, I grabbed my purse and my phone then walked to put on my shoes. I stood up straight then face him, " I'm ready," I said. He nodded then stepped aside to give a space. I stepped out from my room and locked the door. When I turned around to face him again, he held out his hand. I looked at his hand and his face, cocking my head to the left.
"We are a couple now," He tugged a smiled then motioned me to hold his hand. I chuckled and reached for his hand. Our hand clasped together while walking to the car park.
"Where are we going now?" I asked him when we were in his car. His hand was still holding my hand while driving.
"Umm.. we watch a movie then play in arcade or any activity that you want," he said glancing at me.
