"Yer killing me" ~ remo drive

The musty lunchroom thrived with teenagers chattering. The air vents practically acted as a speaker phone as the teenagers clustered up into cliques. The talking, gossiping, secrets, and excited yells boomed  as Stan pushed his way through the lunch room attempting to find the rest of the group. The ravenette carefully held his tray of food as he walked past the goth kids. The heat of the room consumed him as he let out a quiet sigh, his eyes still scanning the room for his friends. Stan carefully brushed past a few teenagers to see Kyle, his best friend, with Kenny. Both boys looked as if they were annoyed by the loudness of the room. Their faces showed looks of distaste. They were talking about only god knows while looking down at the greasy food in front of them. Ranging from video games or sports it could be anything, even females. Stan happily walked over to the table holding his lunch tray. Kyles head snapped up as he felt the presence of his friend, Hey Stan!" he greeted with a cheerful smile. Stan replied with a kind grin back in the gingers direction. He placed his tray on the hard lunchroom table and sat down beside Kyle. Kenny was sitting across from both boys propped on his hand. His eyes were glassy, as if he was off in space. He surely did not notice the ravenettes presence. "What's wrong?" Kyle questioned when he noticed Kenny wasn't eating anything which is very rare. Kenny was drifted off into thought before his mind registered Kyle who was now becoming a bit impatient. "Kenny?" The ginger questioned once more raising his voice. Kenny's head shot up looking at Kyle In confusion. "What?" He asked taken aback by Kyle. "You're not eating, what's wrong?" Kyle persisted, pointing towards the plate of food with his index finger. "Nothing." Kenny mumbled glancing down at the processed junk in front of him. "Bullshit." Stan added. "Okay!" Kenny began. Both Stan and Kyle leaned in very interested. "I don't know, I'm just pissed. I'm tired of our classes being interrupted constantly. Tweek and Craig are practically walking punching bags for each other." Kenny vented out throwing his hands up.

The boy gained his composure and calmed down quickly as Kyle and Stan worriedly looked at each other. "Uh.." Kyle trailed off, "And since when did you start caring?" Stan interrupted. "Yeah this is new shit." Kyle added propping his elbows on the table. "I don't care," Kenny stated, "I just notice it a lot more now. It's annoying. I don't give a fuck about learning but these guys have to stop. It's always the same shit." he spat out. Before Kyle or Stan could conjure up a response a familiar voice barged into the conversation. "Are you talking about the two faggots?" It hissed. The messy blonde haired boy rolled his eyes, he knew exactly which fatass it was. Kyle glared at the brunette who rudely took a seat next to Kenny. "What do you want Cartman?" Kyle questioned  lifting the plastic fork up to his mouth to take a bite of food. "What the fuck are you talking about?" Cartman questioned in a suspiciously curious voice. "Craig and Tweek." Kenny interrupted as bigger teen grabbed the boys food pouring it onto his plate. Kenny didn't mind considering he lost his appetite. "Why do you care about those two? Are you a faggot too?" Cartman  questioned with his mouth full, gobbling down the food infront of him. "What?!! Kenny isn't fucking gay." Kyle scoffed crossing his arms. Stan watched amused. "Kenny is tired of them always getting into fights." Stan elaborated picking at his food with a fork. "They're gonna kill each other one day." Kyle added to his best friends comment. "I hope so." Cartman let out a sick cackle that practically made the boys jump. Kyle sent a glare at Cartman who was too busy shoving shovel fulls of food into his mouth. "I wonder why they even fight?" Stan spoke aloud towards Kenny. "Don't look at me I don't have answers." The blonde chcuckled. "They both aren't evil people on their own, but I guess they just clash." Kyle responded with his theory. "They argue like an old married couple." Stan added. Kenny nodded in agreement and pulled his parka down. "They probably are." Stan sheepishly breathed out. "Craig and Tweek aren't gay Stan." Kyle stated defensively. Both Kyle and Stan looked at Kenny as if he had all the answers. "I wouldn't know" He murmured awkwardly. "You never know." Stan shrugged poking at the mashed potatoes in his plate. "He's right." Cartman laughed. "Shut up fatass." Kyle hissed. Over the years Cartman definitely became less of a threat, more of an annoyance now in tenth grade.
