Dick's eyebrows shot all the way up his forehead, "pregnant?"

Jason nodded nervously.

Dick's hand slipped up his faced and slowly reached his hair gripping it gently as he whispered to himself, "...pregnant..." trying to grasp onto the thought.

Jason subtly rolled his eyes.

"Are you sure it's-"

"Yes." Jason answered shutting down any stupid questions quickly.

"Well does she know abou-"

"Yep." The omega said cutting the other off with an extra emphasis on the "p".

Dick paused for a moment tapping his foot and jittering. His hand were posed in a thinking position in front of his lips, "...well what about-"

"Damian?" Jason finished the sentence cutting off the first robin one last time.

Dick's face shifted to one of worry along with his scent, "does he know?"

Jason nodded his voice taking a more serious tone, "Yeah, he does."

"Well how does he feel about this?" Dick said with deep concern.

"To be honest, I don't really know, but he took it much better than I'd expect him to." Jason replies genuinely.

There was another pause before Dick said anything, "...how do you feel about this?"

Jason sighed, "I don't know, Dick," his voice sounded defeated and tired, "I'm just trying to find peace in it all."

Dick nodded.

Another pause.

"Damn...I don't know whether to congratulate you or not." Dick said finally.

Jason cracked a smile and tried to cover up a snort of laughter, "you're welcome to make congratulations...," Jason blanked out for barely a second remembering all the events that had taken place since he welcomed Talia into his bedroom, "it's not the baby I'm worried about."

"Talia's been causing trouble?"

Jason stiffened and winced visibly with a sharp hiss, "something like that."

"...W-well how far along are you now?"

"Damn..." Jason curses under his breath, "around 15 weeks actually,..."

"15 weeks!?" Dick repeats in shock.

Jason put his hands up in defense of himself noticing Dick was going into a fit of one of his dramatics, "To be fair I've only known for about 3 weeks."

"Wha-I- you told Damian before me!"

Jason tensed up nervously, "...and Tim." He said sheepishly.

"TIM!" The others stood up dramatically to further exaggerate his point.

"Yeeeeeeaaaah. But! But he did snoop into my personal business, dig into my personal life, and then continued to tell Damian and who knows who else. So if it makes you feel better you're the first person I told without being forced into a corner."

Dick sat down with a pout, "I guess it does." He pouted still with a hint of disappointment.

"No, there's something else, com'n Dickhead, what's wrong?"

"I don't know." The older said a bit grimly, "I guess I've really lost touch with you. I'm just so out of the loop."

"Didn't we just talk about this."

"I know, I know. But really, I've been able to connect with Tim and Damian, it took a bit longer with Dami, but I still managed to get to him. You're the only brother I haven't built that kind of strong relationship with."

"I was dead," Jason took a long and nervous sip of water, he really need some whiskey or wine or anything really, "and crazy."

"Yeah, there was that. But I didn't put that much effort into you when you- before you're death." Dick met Jason's eye with a certain guilt behind them. One that's been building for some time.

"You were a bitter prick," Jason took another long sip, "and salty too. You were that guy before I was that guy.

Dick cracked a sorry smile, "Yeah. I guess I was."

"We have all the time in the world right now, Dickhead. No use in living in the past or whatever they say." Jason said with the most hopeful tone he could muster.

The smile on the other's face is incomparable, full of hope and excitement, "you're right! I am going to be the best brother and the best uncle EVER!"

Again Dick had to stand up and exaggerate himself with his hands spreading out his arms wide to express "ever".

Jason snorted, and then fell out into laughter. Dick's ridiculous antics were always entertaining.

"You can make it up to me with babysitting or whatever." Jason laughed.

Dick pointed at Jason like he was the most important thing in Gotham, "Great idea! We'll go shopping, and go to the park, and go for walks, and-" Richard began to ramble and fantasize about baby friendly activities, and brother bonding, and how much attention he'd get from the omegas when he shows up with a baby.

Jason smile, happily tuning the other out. He relaxed peacefully, allowing Dick to ramble as he usually does.

Being an omega without pack bonds was difficult. It messed with his hormones, it messed with his body fat, it messed with his diet, his habits, his sex life, but most of all it messed with his emotions. It was hard to keep himself stable, he wasn't very outward on his presentation and as a consequence of that he didn't get the wiggle room most have. He couldn't be an omega without feeling weak or ashamed. He never did "omega" things, things that would make his life a lot more comfortable. He didn't do these things because he felt as though he was giving into the temptations of his instincts.

He never got the chance to be an omega, feel like an omega, or be treated like one. He didn't feel safe, well cared for, protected, nor pampered.

This lifestyle typically isn't healthy. Restraining himself from the actions that made him more comfortable gave him constant anxiety and stress. He had no outlet for these kinds of desires. The desire for sex was one thing, it could be dealt with quickly but the desire to be held, to be vulnerable, to be cared for. The desire for a pack that didn't give him stress, the desire to nurse, and care for a pup.

He'd only felt the positives of these experiences when he was with Talia, and look where that got him.

The desire for pack bonds were inexcusable, inextinguishable, and cannot go ignored.

So to have even the idea of a normal pack dynamic is comforting for him. Even if it isn't possible.

"Are we missing something?" A voice called from Jason's window so casually.

It had to be Tim.

Both Jason and Dick look to the window to see both Tim and Damian.

"No not really. We were just- Hey no! You're both sneaky bastards!" Dick exclaimed.

"Isn't that the point?" Damian asked dryly.

"No!" Dick whined.

Jason couldn't help but smiled as the three other robins bicker. This is the closest he'd ever get to a normal pack bond. And he appreciated that.

He didn't need the entire bat association. Just these three were perfect.

Bzzz! Bzzz!

His communicator?

Jason watched as all three robins pulled out there similar communicators.

Shit.

"It's Bruce."
