Xander is my way of revenge.

Why? You might ask well maybe because Dylan absolutely hates Xander. This way I could ask Xander to be my fake boyfriend and make Dylan totally jealous.

Okay maybe it's a little harsh I thought backtracking but Dylan deserves it after all the ice cream that I had been through.

"So what are you doing this weekend?" Maddie asked flicking her fingers in my face.

I raised my eyebrows, "What?".

"Well there is this party on Saturday we should go".

"Okay but if there is drinking I am getting the hell out of there" I replied taking a swig of water.

"Yeah, yeah I know. So i'll pick you up tomorrow then".

"Yeah I guess I will see you then".

--------

"This party is sooooo good!" I slurred swinging my arm over Maddie's shoulder.

"Oh god how much did you drink?" Maddie exclaimed pushing me into a bar chair.

"Madds I don't drink!" I yelled and closed my eyes, "I'm tired what time is it?".

"Well someone must of slipped you some," she groaned and grabbed my arm, "Come on it's late we better get going".

"Noooo I wanna partaay!" I shouted and walked away from Maddie and accidentally stumbled into someone.

"Already falling over my good looks Sophie" a boy said and he looked strangely familiar.

"Do I know you?" I said and wrinkled my nose.

"Yeah you know me all right" he winked at me and put his hands on my waist.

"Ew get off me you perv" I giggled.

"Do you honestly not know who I am?" he raised his eyebrow and he had gorgeous green eyes.

"You have amazing eyes" I said stupidly in awe and leaned in closer. I held my arms around his neck and stared into his eyes.

"Hmm no one has ever said that before" he replied and leaned in.

"What are you doing Sophie!" a voice yelled and our heads turned around.

"Dylan?" I said in confusion.

He rushed over to me and pulled me off the gorgeous eyed boy, "Come on we're leaving".

I pulled off him and stood stiff, "I am not going anywhere with you, you cheater!".

Dylan stiffened and grabbed my wrist, "Lets go".

"Leave her alone loser" the boy said and pulled my wrist out of his hands.

"Yeah" I said and twirled my hair round my finger.

"Why are you with Xander?" Dylan asked in disgust.

"Xander?" I turned my head around and looked at the boy next to me, "I thought I remembered you!".

Xander rolled his eyes, "Come on babe" he said and grabbed my arm.

"Don't call her that" Dylan said, obviously annoyed.

"He can call me whatever because he's my boyfriend" I blurted out.

Xander looked at me in confusion but I stared at him, telling him with my eyes to go along with it.

When he finally got it, he pulled me closer and I put my head on his shoulder lovingly, "Yeah thats right".

"Are you joking" Dylan laughed and I raised an eyebrow. Is this guy a nutter or something because he is definitely acting like one.

When he finally stopped he continued, "Wow you could of certainly done better but please tell me you are joking because this must be a laugh".

"Nope this girl means everything to me" Xander said and smiled at me.

"When did you guys start dating?" Dylan retorted and I saw a flash of jealously in his eyes.

"Just a couple of days ago," Xander said confidently, "Maybe if you didn't cheat on her she wouldn't come to me for an upgrade".

I smirked and saw we had stirred up quite a crowd and I saw Maddie in the corner looking at me in concern. I smiled reassuringly and she held up 10 fingers; meaning ten minutes before we get the hell out of here.

"How did you guys meet? Where did you go for your date?" Dylan fired at us.

"God this is not twenty questions Dylan, back off" I smirked and crossed my arms.

He looked at me up and down, "Wow Sophie looking like hell like always, no wonder why I dumped you".

I winced, that hit a nerve. Dylan continued, "Getting drunk and staying out late? What has this boy done to you?" gesturing to Xander. "I knew you were a hopeless case but I didn't know you needed mental help too".

"So where's your girlfriend mate? Already cheating on you? Thats a little early, got to change that in my calendar," Xander smirked, "Come on lets go".

I nodded and nodded my head towards Maddie who nodded back and headed towards the door. We started to exit but Dylan's voice stopped me.

"You'll never find someone like me again Sophie!" Dylan yelled and I could see the space clearing.

"Thats kinda the point Wood" I smirked and saluted him.

As we stepped onto the concrete and fresh air I sat down. It was bright outside and I asked Maddie for the time, "Oh its 3am".

"Oh god my mums going to kill me" I put my head on my knees.

I heard Maddie walk away towards Xander and they started talking. I strained to hear them and saw they exchanged numbers.

Maddie got into a car before looking at me and smiled whilst Xander came towards me. "I told Maddie to get a cab and I will drive you home".

"Okay" I replied it was silent for a bit before tears started to fall down my face.
My shoulders started to shake uncontrollably. Xander sat down next to me and put his arm around my shoulder comfortingly.

No words were spoken but it was what I needed. A moment to let go all of the stress and hurt that was building up inside of me.

It was going to get better I told myself. It's going to get better.
