Jackie landed on the balcony stairs with a soft thud. He opened the window that led to the living room and slipped through with Sam following behind. The eye let out a yawn and floated to Jack's room.

"Hey Shneep, you still home?" He pulled down his hood and took off his mask.
"I just got~" Jack heard a yawn come from the kitchen,  "~home from an emergency call for a fire victim. . ."

"Everything alright?" The teen asked worrisome, thinking about the fire he had just come from. He unzipped the top of his onesie and tied the sleeves around his waist. He had a white tank top on underneath.

"I'm not in ze mood to talk right now." Shneep walked over to him with a mug in his hand. He had his white coat on with scrubs underneath. The doctor had bags under his dull baby blue eyes.

"Ok then" Jack grabbed the coffee from his hands. "Go get some sleep. You look dead on your feet"

Shneep put his hands on his hips.
"I am ze good doctor! I need to be ready"
"I'll wake you up if you get a call, but you need to take care of yourself too"

The doctor cursed in German. He sighed and started to his room.
"Fine. Gute Nacht" he waved behind him and disapeared inside. After a minute, Jack could hear snoring coming from the open door.

The Irishman poured out the mug and went to his room where he found Sam already asleep on his bed. He sat down at his computer desk looking at the sleeping eye. His thoughts wouldn't let him sleep.

After a few minutes of just sitting with his head in his hands, he stood up.
"I'm not going to be able to sleep. I might as well take a walk."
He took a quick shower to wash off ash and the smell of smoke. He changed into normal clothes and  grabbed his phone.

Jack opened the door and started down the hall. Consumed in his thoughts, he didn't see the other person running towards him until it was too late.

Someone ran into him holding a binder. Both of them fell to the ground, making papers fly everywhere.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" He heard a female voice apologize. She started to pick up some of the papers she dropped.

"No no, it's not yer fault. I should have watch where I was going." he rose to a crouch and helped her get the rest.
He stood up and handed back her papers before he saw her face. She was about his age, tall, long brown hair and beautiful  eyes.
"I uh-Hi, I'm S-seán, but um, everyone   c-calls me Jack" He told her sheepishly. What was this feeling? Why was he feeling like this?

"Hello. My name's Evelien, but my friends call me Gab."
She extended her hand and shook Jack's.

"Is it ok if I call you Evelien? It's a pretty name-" he shut himself up. Dear God, did he actually just say that out loud?
Evelien slightly blushed but just shrugged casually.

"Sure, only if I get to call you Seán"
"Deal"
"So, do you live here?" She asked as she straitened her papers, which Jack guessed was school work.

"No, I'm just here for a . . . certain deal" He lowered his voice to try and act as shady as possible. She just chuckled a little bit.
"Really?"
"Na, I live down the hall with my cousin" he pointed to the last door.
"Whata bout you?"
"I just moved here with my dad actually" she gestured to the door across from his.

"Oh hell ya, neighbors!" The Irishman gave her a high five, which she returned happily.

She hugged her papers and looked to the ground, blushing slightly.
"So um, I was actually going to go to the park after I got home, and I ,er, was wondering if you wanted to come with so we could get to know each other better?" She looked up,
"You don't have to! you were probably needing to do something important-"
