Chapter 13- Machine

_*3 Months Later*_

"There has been a new trend of Machine powered or inhanced villains. The first to show up was Sonic. This woman, as described to us by the TCPD, had sound amplifiers in her boots and gloves. Most considered her as a ' literal headache '. . ."

Jackie listened to the news and police scanner through his ear buds as he watched from the buildings above the city streets. It was starting to get dark and he had to wrap his patrol up quickly. Darkiplier didn't come around very much, or Jackaboy didn't see him. When he did, it was for a short time.

"Since the first attack, more of these 'super villains' had shown up around the city. Beast, the machanical gorilla, Tremor, a woman able to convert gravity into a continuous pulse that caused small earthquakes and caverns. Knight Night was able to play music to make those around him fall asleep, and today's criminal, Cherry Bomb. He was seen robbing a bank earlier these morning, injuring civilians and officers alike-"

The news report was cut off by a male voice on the scanner.

"All units, we have a 10-65. I need units in the area to respond, over?"

That's an Armed robbery. Glad I studied the police codes

Jackaboy-man pulled out his ear buds as he saw someone run from the now alerted bank, small explosions and gas clouds following behind them.

"Time for some Jack-tion!"
The red hero jumped off the roof to interrupt the robbers get away.

"Woah, and who do we have here?" Jackaboy-man asked as he landed on the street in front of the criminal. He could see that it was a young man from his features.

His suit was red with green straps that held small rounded objects the size of marbles, each different colors. His mask looked like a war gas mask. He was holding multiple black duffle bags.

This must be Cherry Bomb

"Get out of here you red fucker, before I wreck your shit" He spoke confidently, the mask making his voice sound raspy.

"Dang, a potty mouth Vader?! That's pretty. . .  you know, you ever think about leaving the criminal scheme and do cosplay? I heard it's more rewarding than robbing a-" the red hero was cut of as Cherry Bomb grabbed one of his yellow marbles and threw it at Jackie's feet.

It exploded like a fire cracker except it was like thirty times more powerful. The red hero was thrown back from the explosion. He did a flip in the air and landed back on his feet. Sam appeared and wrapped his tail around Cherry Bombs wrist, keeping his from throwing another bomb at Jackaboy.

"Well . . . I gave you a chance" using his inhanced speed, ran towards him delivered a powered punch to the males face, making his mask fall off. Sam let go of him and let him fall unconscious to the ground.

Jackie made a fist and held it to Sam, who responded by using his tail for a fist bump. He turned his attention back to the unconscious criminal.

"Your definitely easier than the other guys, that's fer damn sure"

Taking a pair of handcuffs from his new side bag, he cuffed the man's hands behind his back before turning him around, carful not to set off his tiny bombs.
