"Alexander, what..." -You trailed off, confused, earning a smirk from the man. -"What did you do?"
"Come on, where is the fun if I told you?" -He answered, clearly amused. -"Why don't you try to find out yourself, huh?"
"And how the fuck am I supposed to do that?" -You raised your voice slightly. -"I'm not in the mood for any games!"
"Relax, lioness... Or should I teach you some manners?" -He spoke with a soft voice, but you knew that he was enjoying himself making fun of your irritation and ignorance.
He liked making fun of you - But he didn't like the way you talked to him, though. You noticed it as his lip twitched.
"The Devil teaching me manners? Oh, I'd love to see how that turns out." -You answered sarcastically, faking excitement as you smiled and placed your hands on your hips.
"You'd be surprised, darling." -He grinned again.
"Listen-" -You said and he raised both his eyebrows, waiting for you to keep talking. -"You've clearly pushed all my buttons and I want you out of my house. Now."
At first, he just kept his dark eyes locked with yours. The silence in the room made you uneasy - and the fact that he didn't reply, or even blink, made you think that he had ran out of patience. Suddenly the man let a deep, short laugh come out of his throat, making your heart beat faster.
"Then just give me your soul and I will be gone."
"I actually have a better idea." -You said as you turned around, facing the nightstand beside you.
You grabbed your phone and looked through your contacts.
"You sure you wanna do that?" -He crossed his arms, his devilish smirk appearing again.
You dialed Matt's number and placed your phone next to your ear.
"Very fucking sure." -You pinched the bridge of your nose, closing your eyes, trying to calm down.
"Good luck with that then." -You heard him say. -"You're gonna need it."
You scowled and when you opened your eyes, you gasped as you found yourself alone in the room. Looking around, you saw no one.
"Who's this?" -Matt's voice caught your attention. You left a relieved sigh escape your lips now.
"Hey, it's (y/n) here." -You said. -"I know it's late and I'm sorry but-"
"(Y/n)?" -He repeated, sounding really confused.
"Uh, yeah." -You answered, sitting on your bed. -"Anyways, as I was saying-"
"Sorry but I think you called the wrong number, I don't know any (y/n)."
Your jaw fell, blinking repeatedly. What the Hell was going on?
"What the fuck, Matt?" -Your voice broke. -"Listen, it's no time for jokes, I really need to ta-"
"I am not joking, as I said I don't know anyone called (y/n). I'm sorry to be no help."
"But Matt-" -And just like that, he hung up on you. You looked at your phone's screen, speechless and scared, trying to understand what just happened.
Then, a voice resonated in your mind and remembered The Devil's words.
Good luck with that, you're gonna need it.
Your fists clenched as you realized that he had done that. He had erased you from his mind.
With a furious groan, you got up and looked for him in every room until you reached your living room. That asshole was sitting on the couch as if he owned the house. He was resting his crossed legs on top of the little table in front of him, and rested both arms on each side of the back of the sofa.
