25 minutes are left for the boarding to start. Kartik and Naira haven't returned yet. The Goenkas and Mathurs are facing each other and sitting, both the parties not getting any topic to speak about, so just smiling at each other without any reason.
Mansi slides her phone inside her jeans pocket and stands up.
Suhasini: Kithe jaa rahi hai Mansi putar??
Mansi: Main washroom se aayi dadi...
She turns to go that Swarna stops her.
Swarna: Mansi...beta agar raaste mein Kartik Naira dikh jaye toh unhe lekar aa jana, na jane tabhi se kahan gayab hain!
Mansi: Okay Tai ji...
Mansi turns and walks away. Manish turns towards Swarna.
Manish: Tum itni bhi kya fikar kar rahi ho Swarna? Aa jayege woh dono...Kahan gaye honge? Airport ke andar hi toh honge...
Suhasini: Tu mujhse pooch Manish...tabse samjhate samjhate thak gayi hu, lekin iska dimaag ghutno mein hi rhega
Swarna rolls her eyes, folds her arms and turns away to look at the glass furniture.
The scene shifts to Viren and Shorvari
Shorvari: Damaad ji aaye the....phir pata nahi Naira ko kahan lekar chale Gaye? Khud gayab hain....pata nahi kahan hain yeh dono....45 minute ho Gaye!!
Viren: Ek baar Naira ko phone karlo na agar itni hi fikar ho rahi hai toh!
Shorvari: Haa rukiye...ek minute.
Shorvari calls Naira.
Shorvari(waiting for sometime): Ring jaa rahi hai lekin ye ladki utha hi nahi rahi...
Viren: Ek aur baar try karo....
Shorvari(dialing Naira): Haan...
The scene shifts to Kartik and Naira.
They are still roaming around the stores. They were inside a shoe store.
Naira is seen staring at all the shelves on which high heels, shoes, sneakers, flip flops etc were placed. They were looking darn expensive. Naira had been to such an expensive footwear shop for the very first time. The staff at the shop also wore better shoes than hers. She was feeling as if she didn't belong there.
Kartik: Kuch pasand aaya? Kuch lena hai??
Naira: Aap pagal ho kya Kartik? Yahan pe koi bhi shoe 2000 rupaye se kam ka nahi hoga!
Kartik(shrugging his shoulders): Haan toh kya hua?...Naira tumhe kuch lena hai toh bolo...paisa matter nahi karta!
Naira: Arey aise kaise paisa matter nahi karta hai! Humne abhi abhi 300 rupaye ka dosa khaya tha....300 rupaye ka dosa Kartik!
Kartik: Sirf 300 hi toh hain Naira....
Naira: Sirf 300!! Aapki akal ghaas charne gayi hai kya? 300 mein 2 zeros hote hain...arey Mussoorie mein Chintu Ke Dhabe pe sirf 70 rupaye ka ek plate chole bhatoore aa jata hai....ye log humein loot rahe hain....
Kartik looks at her unbelievably. She looked so cute when she was angry. The way her nose flared and eyebrows furrowed....the cute pout on her lips🤩
