It was 5 pm in the evening. Trisha was sitting at her desk in her room and studying that her phone rang. She diverted her gaze from her book and looked at the caller ID flashing on the screen. It was Neha, her friend. She sighed and received the call in 2-3 rings and again turned her gaze towards her book as she began counting the no. of pages.
Trisha(busy tone): Haa bol....
Neha: Kya kar rhi hai??
Trisha: Padh rhi hoon....
Neha: Arrey Waah sacchi??
Trisha rolls her eyes and holds her head.
Neha: Arrey its surprising that you're not talking to that Shubham guy....warna jab bhi tujhe call kerti thi, tera phone busy aata tha and you didn't even reply to my messages also...
Trisha:(sighing in defeat and asking with disinterest) Kya kaam hai?? Kyun call kiya??
Neha: Arrey kal results aaye the na?? Kitne % aaye tujhe iss baar??
Trisha(playing with her pencil): 62%
Neha: Haww....itne kam...!! Kese yaar??? I mean.....I can't digest ki tujhe 62% mile hain.....tere toh acche khaase hi aate the na marks....phir iss baar itna kam kyu?? Padhai nhi ki kya??
Trisha rolls her eyes and sighs in defeat.
Neha: Mere toh 86% aaye hain....
Trisha: Congratulations....keep it up...phone rakhu ab?? Mujhe padhna hai....
Neha: Haa toh padhna toh padega hi na...yeh semester tune pura uss ladke ke peeche barbaad ker diya...
Trisha(confused): Matlab??
Neha: Matlab aur kon?! Shubham Goenka....yeh pura semester tu usi mein involved rhi....usi ke aage peeche ghoomti rahi....he's just a distraction....usi ke wajah se your grades have gone down....aur grades chod....tu toh uske alaawa kisi aur se baat hi nhi kerti thi....I know....I know these rich, spoilt, playboy guys.....unhe na bass ladkiyon ko phasana aata hai...just use them and throw them like a tissue paper...yahan tu uske liye kitna time nikal rhi hai, tu usey apna accha dost maanti hai I agree....but he's just using you as a time pass..!!
Just then Trisha remembers Shubham saying -
Trisha (hurt): Mein kya timepass lagti hoon tumhe??
Shubham (messing with her): Arey yaar haan obvio....Tum bhi na Tissue...tumhi toh mera sabse acha timepass ho(laughs)
Neha's voice again brings her out of her thoughts.
Neha: Trisha....main bol rhi hoon....chod de usey....mat pad uss ladke ke chakkar mein....kya pata sirf tu hi nhi ho uski life mein?? Tere hote huye bhi woh na jane kitni aur ladkiyo ke saath flirt kerta hoga....inn ameer playboys ki fitrat na aisi hi hoti hai....dekh....woh abhi tujhse dosti ka naatak kar rha hai, phir dheere dheere pyaar ka naatak karega....phir tujhe saari fairy tale fantasies dikhake dump kardega....it doesn't matter to him ki tu uski bhabhi ki behen hai....usey toh bass time pass kerna tha....tune uska time pass kerwa diya.....
