Kaira Bedroom
It was 7 a.m. in the morning and soft snoring could be heard from the bed. Kartik and Naira were sleeping peacefully hugging each other. They had had a sweet, sound sleep after a long time. And also, the sleep after a day long fast hit them different. But seems nature wanted to wake them up soon, so sun rays crept in through the narrow gap of the curtains and fell on their faces and even Kartik's alarm started snoozing as the clock struck 7:05 am. But both of them were too lazy to wake up no matter how loud the alarm was. Neither of them was willing to move their body a little also to switch off the alarm. The Delhi winters had started to show its true colours making people lazy like a log - just wanting to remain on the bed and snuggle to blanket.
The sound of the alarm was beginning to disturb Naira's sleep so she opened her drowsy eyes slowly and looked at the alarm that was ringing on the bedside table. Since she was on the opposite, far side of the table, she sighed in defeat and again laid back on the bed closing her eyes and snuggling more into Kartik. She called Kartik in her sleep.
Naira (in sleep): Kartik...
Kartik(sleepy too): Hmm...??
Naira: Aapka alarm....
Kartik sighed and opened his eyes. He turned towards the bedside table and switched off the alarm. Looking at the time, he sighed and turned to Naira and opening his eyes wide and stretching his arms yawning softly, he shook her gently to wake her up.
Kartik: Naira...
Naira (opening her eyes): Hmm....
Kartik: Good Morning...
Naira(yawning softly) : Good Morning...
She sat on the bed and removing the duvet from her body, she started rubbing her eyes.
Kartik: Naira...
Naira(looking at him): Ji??
Kartik: Ab tabiyat kaisi hai tumhari??
Naira: Theek hai ab....sari nausea aur weakness door ho gyi..!!
Kartik(nodding): Hmm...
There was silence between them for some seconds when Kartik realised something and turned towards Naira instantly.
