St. Andrews Preparatory was built on the grounds of an old mansion surrounded by dense forest of which the student body had fabricated perplexing legends, and which was also infamous for what the they did there; things that are not worth mentioning.
Diane was walking the trails of that lonely place, where Luke had asked her to meet, invitation she skeptically accepted. She could not hear what she was saying, since her eyes were watering as she remembered what she had discovered in that dance. Luke's pleas were in vain, and she left him blind behind, walking aimlessly and wishing everything were different.
She was distracted by a sweet voice from a classmate, to whom Diane returned a smile, and continued. As she left the woods, she saw Garret, and she did not flinch at least smile at him. She saw him with sour eyes and lifted her chest, assuming she would go see her friend. She entered high school before the bell rang.
"You should run for the presidency," Sabrina said, "your debate techniques and your knowledge is certainly impressive."
                              Chloe smiled.
Diane gripped her hands and sped up to her friends. She noticed how Sabrina's face seemed to pale.
"Hey," Chloe whispered, "Angelica invited us to her birthday party." She showed her a red evenlope.
"That's right Diane," Angelica added, pulling an invitation out of her bag with a bold eyes, "you are also invited."
Diane snatched the envelope and her enemies withdrew to continue distributing invitations.
                              "Are you going?" Meryl asked.
"I don't have much of a choice... my mom and Mrs. Cornell are friends, so I expect you will come with me. I heard you are going to run for presidency."
Chloe replied that she was still doubtful.
"Do not do it." She advised. "It is for your own good."
The girls demande dan explanation for such a strange request.
"If Sabrina is the one supporting you, be sure she will stab your back," she looked down.
                              "You are exaggerating, Diane."
                              She frowned.
"Why don't you make friends with her so you can find out for yourself?"
                              Meryl and Chloe exchanged glances.
"I have tried to warn you about them, and you always say that I am an exaggerating or that I am crazy."
"That's not true", said Maryl touching her shoulder.
"That's not true? You both know what they did with me and Luke even knowing that I liked him..."
Her voice trailed off in tears.Su voz se cortó en llanto.
"That was Monica," Chloe replied, "and you guys were not even dating..."
"Do you see it?" she asked Meryl. "You are always defending them. If you like them so much," she stepped back, "I do not wish to be your friend anymore."
