"It can't be!" Chloe exclaimed, approaching Meryl. "Let me read it again."
Meryl had the latest issue of La Societé on her phone.
"God -they wrote everything we told them, and added juicy new details. Thank your contact for us, Meryl."
"I do not think Mrs. Cowell will show her face at events for a long time," said Diane, who wasn't showing as much interest in the magazine.
"I hope so," Meryl commented.
The girls walked on a silent path in the school's dense coniferous forest.
"And now imagine the revenge with Sabrina and her group," Meryl said. "It will be even juicier than this."
"And what exactly is our plan? Sabrina is a very appreciated girl in society, and humiliating Monica would be impossible as she doesn't even mind flirting with the principal in front of the whole school."
At that moment, the three of them stopped in astonishment. Walking in the opposite direction on the same path, Gary appeared with his eyes on his phone, walking upright, and beside him was a handsome young woman with dark hair and green eyes.
"Is that Johanna?" Meryl whispered.
Suddenly she was taken by the hand and led to some trees by her friends, who remained hidden observing the alleged lovebirds.
"I do not know what Monica might be interested in, what I can firmly assure you is that Sabrina is sensitive when her dear Gary is touched," Diane informed them and, with her phone, took a photo of the young couple.
"Are you going to send it to her?" Chloe asked trying to see the photo.
"Not yet. I'd like to first have a collection of images to send, and destroy her."
