For the course of almost two weeks, Lilly had not heard from Mr. di Bardi, yet that was not her fault. He didn't seem motivated in all the messages he sent, and she was the one trying to drag the conversation down. He even ignored some of her calls, a matter that offended her in a way he had no idea. To forget about him, she decided to upload photos to her status dressed in a suggestive way and enjoyed the attentions of certain acquaintances, noticing that he looked at them all without answering.
Finally, she got news of him, and it wasn't long before he invited her to see him in the penthouse, an invitation that she was slow to answer, since she had alleged commitments. She refused to be seen as needy, and out of her own pride, she wanted to let William know that she was not his toy. All her anger seemed to melt away when she saw him, and both were filled with kisses and caresses that culminated in the room with burning desires. Lilly said how much she liked the meeting, and that it was better than the ones she had recently had.
"Have you been having fun with others?" William asked, sitting up on the bed.
Lilly nodded mischievously and a brief silence followed the conversation.
"May I know why?"
"Of course," she answered fluently, "I like to have fun with other men and my fiancé."
"Don't I please you enough?"
Lilly assured him that he did.
"I missed seeing you." He stroked her head.
She smiled as she thought what he was saying was a simple lie, as she hadn't heard from him for a long period.
"I don't like you seeing other men." Lilly's expression forced him to explain. "I'm afraid it could make us more prone to disease."
"You don't have to worry about it," she replied, "William. Also, it's not like only I am having fun with third parties."
Her words puzzled him.
"I don't, Lilly."
She looked away.
"I'm serious," he continued to kiss her neck and whisper that she was the only one he wanted.
"Okay. I'll think about it."
"Whenever you're feeling naughty, Lilly, you should call me."
William lay back down, and hugged Lilly.
"Do you have any plans for these holidays?"
"No," he replied indifferently. "Guess we'll go to Dearick's parents."
"How about you both join us?"
Lilly exalted at the thought.
"We are going to Milan." He kissed her arms. "I would love for you to be there, and for us to be able to hide from the rest while they celebrate to do what we do best."
"It doesn't sound bad at all." She caressed his face, and she couldn't help but think of the gifts she would receive from him.
"I'll talk to Dearick about it; you must cooperate and insist too. Perhaps, when you visit him at the office, I can come too and raise the matter with him."
Lilly did not respond, and continued to caress his soft face as she looked out the window. The images of the streets of Europe, and the possibility of meeting potential single providers to fulfill her wishes caused an unexpected satisfaction on her face.
