Remus hears Sirius laughing softly behind him. "What's funny?" He asks.

"Why do we always end up sharing a bed?"

It is Remus' turn to chuckle. "Oh, I'm not staying."

He turns as soon as he pushes the 'up' button for the elevator and the look of disappointment on Sirius' face is hardly hidden.

"Did you think this was going to be a hot sex-scapade?"

"Yes." Sirius offers immediately.

Remus is blushing now and he tries to avert his gaze. "Boyfriend?" He asks, recalling their conversation from years ago.

"Dumped."

Remus nods.

"You."

Remus chooses his words carefully, choosing to say "it's complicated," and not we're not serious because I knew I'd be seeing you for this wedding.

"Complicated." Sirius says the word like he knew exactly what Remus didn't say.

The elevator doors open, Remus and Sirius step in, the doors close, and then Remus' hands are finding Sirius' blazer lapels and he pushing Sirius against the elevator wall and they are kissing.

Kissing in the elevator.

Kissing down the hallway.

Kissing as Remus fumbles with the room key.

Kissing as shoes are toed off and shirts are discarded onto the little desk.

Kissing as Sirius' bare back hits the bed. But now it's kissing down necks and across shoulders.

And soon it's not just kissing. It's touching and holding and so so much more.

They might be in a wedding tomorrow, but tonight will fell like the honeymoon.
