The weekend is finally here after a torturous week of catching up on homework and restoring themselves. Momiji gathered the girls over for some tea at her backyard. The girls dressed up casually with a little bit of dazzle. Momiji allowed them to try on her jewelry and act like elegant British teenagers.
"Ladies, guess what tragic thing I've done," Mei sips her tea with a smirk.
"A girl like you doing something tragic. I am so intrigued, you must spill," Hanabi holds her tea, as she struggles to keep her pinky up. Momiji chuckles at Hanabi's tussle.
"I have told my loved one about my secret," Mei giggles.
The girls pause, staring at Mei in shock.
"You told Satsuki?!" Hanabi slams her hands on the table, her mug flying out of her hands. Earthlight catches it, with a small smile. She approaches the girls, gently placing the mug back.
"What great timing," Yukino chuckles as she takes a sip.
"Earthlight, you could've rung a bell or say something," Hanabi readjusts herself and sits down.
"You girls suck at roleplay," Momiji rolls her eyes.
"Mei, what made you decide your sister has the right to know what is going on?" Earthlight asks politely.
"To be fair, I felt bad for keeping her in the dark for so long, but she took it well and there should be no misunderstandings between us anymore," Mei says with a sigh of relief.
"Do you trust your sister?" Earthlight asks.
"Of course,"
"Can we trust her?" Momiji interrupts.
"Guys... She will keep quiet I promise,"
"Good, Now I must discuss important information with you," Earthlight snags a chair from the empty table across from them.
"I've decided that I shall get rid of Earth in the coming weeks. I wanted to do it sooner, but I have to not be selfish and think of you girls too," Earthlight confesses, as she pours herself a glass of water. The girls silently stare at her.
Earthlight looks up, a bit startled at the glaring eyes. "I can see you girls already object my decision, but it must happen so Dark Nature will not exist anymore," She drinks her glass, cringing at the bitter taste.
"If Dark comes before I make the move, you girls will not stand a chance defeating her. Therefore, you must train day and night. I will provide some resources for your training and humbly be your advisor—"
"Earthlight please tell me your hearing what you just said," Momiji speaks up.
"You girls can try changing my mind about this, but you don't understand this is the only way,"
"Do you have any idea how great Earth is? To end it will just put all those years of evolution to waste. And—"
"This planet is dying. You don't hear what I've been hearing constantly. Crying, screaming. You girls only see its destruction on that tv box. Unless you ignore it. Either way, the only way to end suffering is to die." Earthlight sighs.
"We can heal this planet," The girls say in unison. They look at each other, almost amazed.
"That's what we're here for. That's what you're here for," Yukino says.
"No matter how difficult the problem, teamwork will get it solved," Momiji follows.
"You chose us for a reason, let us prove to you that we for what it takes," Mei continues.
