Luis pulled Webby along the streets of Duckburg. The light hurt his eyes but he pulled the hood of his sweater up to block it out. Webby walked along side him. She held one arm casually in the other behind her back as she did a little skip in her step.

"So, what am I helping you with, exactly?" Webby asked.

Luis was ready for that question.

He had actually thought about what he needed for his plan last night as he pretended to sleep, until he saw Webby running out of the house boat. He made a mental list in his head and the steps he needed to take when he got what he needed.

If Luis played his cards right he can make due of his plan in two days.

    Tops.

He couldn't wait to see the horrified looks on everyone's face, especially his victim. It was going to be awesome.

"I need a car battery." Luis told her, finally.

Webby stopped short of walking and Luis turned to look at her. She was staring at him, with confusion and curiosity.

"A, a car battery?" She repeated. "Why?" She asked.

"I'm working on a project." Luis told her, grabbing her hand again. "Top secret. I'll let you in on it once we get everything I need." He promised her.

   "O,Okay." Webby replied, uncertainly.

She wanted in on this secret now, but the way Louie was gripping her hand again, just like at breakfast, made her not want to ask anymore questions.

She was beginning to feel like Louie was wanting to stay in charge. Not let anyone take control, or get to close to him. She wasn't sure were this relationship was going. One minute they were kissing, the next Louie was being rather stern with her and ordering her around.

She had know Louie long enough to know what he was thinking. But lately, she couldn't. He seemed different to her for some reason. It made her want to stay with him, to figure out what had changed, and if she could bring out the old Louie she knew back.

They made their way down the street and Webby felt her heart in her throat as she saw where they were headed.

"The Beagle Boy's Junkyard?" Webby asked as the made their way up to it.

"Only place we can find a used car battery that still works, without anyone asking to many questions." Luis explained. "We are only eleven after all, Webbs, and the first thing a grown-up will ask us is, "what would an eleven-year-old want with a car battery?"

"What do you want with a car battery?" Webby took a chance in asking.

Luis stopped walking making Webby almost bump into him as he turned around. Webby inhaled sharply when she saw his eyes switch from black to gray then black again as he gripped Webby's arm, tightly.

"Let's not ask any more questions, okay." Luis hissed, his face darkened.

Webby flinched when Luis twisted her arm before letting go. She nodded and rubbed it with her other arm. Luis's eyes stopped switching colors and settled down for gray again and his face softened.

"Come here," He said, pulling her close but loosing his grip on her, Webby let him and he kissed her again. Webby's heart sank as she closed her eyes and melted into the kiss. He kissed her slowly and softly at first but then a bit more faster and rougher to the point Webby couldn't keep up with him anymore and pulled quickly away, both breathing hard. "Sorry, I hurt you." He whispered, as he let go of her arm and rubbed the now red patch on it.
