Huey dialed a number and it picked up at the first ring.

"Hey, Huey!" Boyd exclaimed, brightly. "Are we still on for my first slumber party?"

Huey's heart sank.

He had completely forgotten about Boyd's slumber party. His very first since they met was going to be that weekend. Gyro finally gave permission for Boyd to come. Now, he had to tell Boyd that he couldn't, and without explanation.

"Boyd. I, I've got some bad news." He began. "W,We'll have to cancel, something came up." He told him.

"Oh. Really?" Boyd asked, Huey heard the disappointment in his voice.

"I'm sorry, Boyd." Huey said, "but, I'd really love it if you'd come over right now. I can't say anymore, but, I'd like your help with something."

Silence then -.

"Okay, Huey." He said.

"Oh, and can you bring Doofus?" Huey asked.

"Doofus? Why?" Boyd asked.

"I'll tell you all I can when you get here." Huey told him.

"Okay, I'll bring him too. I guess." Boyd said.

"Thanks, Bo -." Huey tried, then wince when Boyd hung up before he could finish his sentence. Huey hated lying to Boyd. He didn't deserve it and with a brother like Doofus who takes advantage of him on a daily basis.

He'd be no better then Doofus when he started to put his revenge into action.

But if he didn't do something about this now, Huey didn't know how much longer this could go on for.  Luis was braver, smarter, sharper, and way more stronger then Louie. He didn't know if his revenge will work, or what would happen to Huey if Luis finds out it was him...

Huey shivered.

To late to back out now.

Huey waited nervously on the steps of the grand staircase until the front doorbell rang fifteen minutes later. Their ghost butler materialized to get it but Huey got to it first making Duckworth evaporate.
"
Sorry, Duckworth!" He called up to the ceiling as he opened the door.

"Do I really have to be here in this..." Doofus said, as he and Boyd entered the house. "Ruble?" He asked, finally just as Scrooge walked by on his way to his office. He stopped short and turned to glare at the chubby duckling that stood in the doorway.

"Ruble?" Scrooge repeated.

"Uh oh." Huey whispered to Boyd who put his hands up to his face to hide a laugh. Huey and Boyd stood behind Doofus as Huey's uncle stomped up to him.

"Young man, this is a palace, a PALACE!" He snarled at him, his face getting as red as his nephew Donald's did when he was angry.

"Compared to mine," Doofus said, "it's a rusty old shack!" He shot back.

"That's it!" Scrooge shouted. "I wanna see this place of yours young man." He snarled at him. "I hadn't worked hard for this place just for it to be called a rusty old shack by someone like you!" He told him, and he hooked his cane on the young duck's shirt and dragged him back out of the mansion.

Huey sighed deeply.

This was going to set them back a bit.

Back at the junkyard the sun was high, and Webby was already hot as she and Louie walked around the junkyard. She sat up on one of the higher stacked cars, balancing herself as she looked down at Louie, then back over at a tiny trailer a couple yards away

Webby's job was keeping an eye on Ma Beagle trailer while Louie rummaged around the old cars looking of a car battery that still had enough juice to do whatever it was Louie wanted it to do. Webby was getting more and more worried about Louie. She couldn't stop thinking about how Louie's eyes flashed from black to gray then back again. It was creepy, almost as creepy as when she found out that Lena was Magica De Spells's shadow.

She also noticed how Louie would be muttering to himself. She caught bits of a conversation back at the breakfast table. She could tell that Louie hadn't realized he was talking out loud in a low mumble but she heard what he said.

"You know, Lou-Lou, I feel like this is the start of a wonderful relationship. Don't you?"

The words echoed in Webby's ears as she watched Louie look closer at a car battery, then tossed it, as he went on to another car.

Louie had jumped up so suddenly then, that Webby thought that he had realized he had spoken out loud, and got scared when Webby gave him that confused look. She had thought that was why he had ran out.

She wondered how Louie got the nickname Lou-Lou. She never heard o anyone call him that before. Not even Donald. She also wondered who Louie thought he was talking too.

She looked down at her arm. The red patch was barely visible now. Louie had never done anything like that to her before.

First the muttering.

Then his eyes changing color.

Now, this.

She looked back up and noticed Louie muttering again. She was too far away to hear what he was saying and wondered if she should abandoned her post and sneak close enough to hear what he was saying.

But thought better of it.

She didn't want Louie mad at her again.

Webby heard a low whistle interrupting her thoughts. She looked back down at Louie who was waving her over.

Her heart leaped inside her chest as she scrambled down the tower of cars and rushed over to him quickly. He was actually smiling when she approached him as he held up a slightly used, but still in good use, car battery.

"This is practically gold." He whispered to her.

Webby wiped off her clammy hands on her skirt and glanced nervously at Ma Beagles trailer. Her TV was up so loud that she could hear her Soaps she was watching. It at least made it a bit easier not snoop around and not be heard as much.

She had been right about there no being any Beagle Boy around.

"The only one that still has enough voltage to do the job." He added.

Webby desperately wanted to know what the 'job,' was but knew better then to ask.

"Look what else I found." Luis told her. She saw him duck inside the passenger side of the car and take out a black leather jacket. "It's practically brand new!"

Webby started at it then quickly looked away as Luis took off his sweater hoodie and replaced it with the black leather jacket.

"Fits me like a glove." Luis said.

Webby glanced at him when she her him pull up the zipper, and her heart skipped a beat. He looked totally different, but in a good way, wearing black instead of green. She couldn't stop staring at him. Luis noticed and laughed as he grabbed her hand.

"Let's get out of here." He said.

He turned and they were about to run out of the junkyard when they were blocked by three Beagle Boys.

Big Time, Burger, and the big tall beefy one called Bouncer who loomed over Luis and Webby with evil grins across their faces.

"I believe that's Burger's leather jacket, McDuck brat." Big Time snarled at him.

Luis glanced at Burger's oddly limber body, and buck toothed grin and rolled his eyes.

"You can't be serious. That guy in a leather jacket? I dunno..." Luis said, his voice trailing off. "Who do you think looks better in a leather jacket, Webbs?" He asked as he looked over at Webby who's cheeks imminently started turning a slight shade of pink. "Me or Burger?"

Webby opened her mouth to answer but no sound came out.

Luis's smile widen.

He completely had the girl tongue tied.

"Give that back!" Big Time ordered, he took a step towards him and Luis slowly turned back to him, eyes narrowing at them.

"Make me." Luis snarled at him, he squeezed Webby's hand tightly.

"My pleasure." Bouncer shot back in a gruffy voice. He came forward, cracking his knuckles and glaring at Luis.

"Webby. RUN!" Luis shouted before he could stop himself.

He let go of her hand, and pushed her roughly ahead. He clinched the car battery to his chest and raced after her through the junkyard.

Big Time, Burger, and Bouncer at their heels.

"We, We can't shake them!" Webby shouted as they ran through the maze of piled garbage. She had done gotten use to the horrible smells that filled her nostrils but the dust that kicked up around them entered their mouths and the taste of garbage that littered everywhere was way worse the any smell she could imagine.

"Come on." Luis grunted.

He grabbed her arm again and yanked it upwards.

Webby saw what he had in mind. Travel across the towered cars. Get away from the Beagal Boys. Get home safely.

Burger must have really resented the way Luis had smacked talked him and was scrambling up the cars as fast as he could with his upper lip curled into a snarl and his eyes shining brightly with hatred.

He may be a skinny, weakling, but he made up for it by being fast. He was faster then his brother's Big Time and Bouncer who all they could do was stay low on the ground to watch and wait for something to happen.

Webby was desperately trying to keep up with Louie.

He was fast. If not as fast as Bouncer who Webby could hear was right behind them.

How did he get so fast all of a sudden?

He always use to be so slow, even on their adventures with Scrooge.

Webby was so lost in thought that she as she lifted her foot on the bumper of a car she slipped, loosing her grip on Louie who fell forward, smacking his face on the car battery. Webby looked down and saw Burger, he hand a old of her ankle and was pulling her back down towards the ground.

Luis scrambled up, grabbing the car battery and ignoring the blood dripping from his bill. He was about to start running when -.

"LOUIE!" Webby shouted.

Luis froze, and slowly turned.

Webby was trying to fight off Burger but he was holding on to her with all his might. Webby didn't bring her backpack full of gear, she was still in a daze after they had been kissing before they left and forgotten it, as she had were her fists which didn't help much considering they were drenched in sweat.

Luis looked from the car battery to Webby then back again.

He was struggling.

Struggling to figure out what he should do.

He could throw the car battery at Burger, making him let go of her, and they both get out safely. But if he did that, then he'd loose the main thing he needed for his plan to protect Louie. If he didn't, Webby would fall victim to Ma Beaglel and her boys.

Luis racked his brain and finally felt Louie's emotions.

"Save her, you idiot!"  Louie's voice screamed in his ears.

Luis smirked.

"Took you long enough, Lou-Lou. What happened? Take a little vacation?"  He asked.

"Just save Webby, or so help me -."  Louie snarled.

"Why should I?"  Luis asked as he continued to watch Webby struggled. She was being pulled down fast now, and her shouting made it even worse to concentrate on Luis's conversation to Louie.

"B,Because I care about her, and, and you care about me."  Louie finally admitted.

"There, now, that wasn't so hard to admit now, was it?"  Luis asked.

Silence.

Luis did care about Louie. Very much. More then anyone else did. He knew Louie would never forgive him if he let anything happen to Webby.

Sure, his brothers were one thing, but Webby, Webby was innocent.

Luis sighed deeply and looked back down at the car battery in his hands, then back over at Webby. He arched his arm as if about to throw a baseball and threw it right smack in the middle of Burger's face.

Burger howled in pain as he fell three stories and Webby scrambled back up and rushed over at Luis. She was trembling slightly, and had a few scratches and burns from the tops of the cars being so hot by the morning sun.

Big Time and Bouncer rushed over to Burger, completely ignoring Luis and Webby as they scolded him and shouted for being so reckless and loosing him and Webby instead of being concerned for his wound.

Burger's nose was bleeding, and he had tears in his eyes as he glared up at Luis. Luis snickered at him then looked over at Webby. She too, had tears in her eyes.

Luis sighed, and put his arm around her.

This was going to the point of no return for him if he kept this up. He had to do something to make sure this kind of thing didn't happen again, or else he'd never be able to achieve his goal.

"Come on, let's get out of here." He muttered.

Webby nodded, and clinched the front of the leather jacket as they made their way out of the junkyard without any more trouble.
