There was a reason why Louie hadn't talked to Luis when he wanted him too.

It's not that he hadn't been upset by the fact that he was practically taking over his life, but he had been busy, well, soul searching.

He had been in the dark abyss and always stayed in the same spot. Surrounded by darkness, with only a patch of light shining on him from the hole above.

But that morning he had decided to take a leap of faith and actually stepped out of the light and into the darkness. He had been so afraid to step into it and afraid he'd never find the light again, but he took a chance. Besides, if Luis was taking over his life, he might as well take a look around. Even if he did get lost in here, he'd have Luis to pick up the slack. He seemed to be doing most of that anyway.

As soon as he did though, the light didn't fade away, which was a relief. But as he peered into the darkness he saw a row of doors.

Doors?

Where they always there or did he happen to imagine them just now?

Either way he wasn't going to just stand around any longer, watching Luis make out with the girl he liked, beat up on his brothers, and just do whatever he felt he had to, to protect him.

He had to figure out how and why Luis was doing this.

In the past Luis had always protected Louie from his brothers, and his uncle. If they did something Luis didn't approve of they'd switch and he'd always taken care of it.

Sometimes in the most horrible way possible.

But none the less, he got the message across, for awhile.

Until it happened again.

But this time he appeared, it had been totally different.

His brothers had done nothing to him, nor had Uncle Donald. They've been living happily in Scrooge mansion for some time now. They were even reunited with their mother...

That couldn't be it. Right?

Their mother's arrival had been a happy one. Even to Luis who Louie had kept locked up tight with his happiness, though unsure, feeling of their mother.

Louie stopped at the door that was marked Arrival.

He slowly moved his hand towards the doorknob and hesitated before slowly opening it.

"Get on in here, Rebel!" He heard Dewey say as he watched the scene laid out before him.

Louie watched himself hide behind Webby.

"Nuh, uh." He said. "This has to be some sort of trick, a spell set up by Magica... Or, Or..." Louie watched himself start to cry as his mother stood up and walked up to him with a warm smile as Webby quietly moved out of the way.

His mother opened up his arms and he ran tried fighting back the tears but they came anyway as he ran up into them.

"Mom." He whispered, hugging her tightly.

His brothers came up then too and they all hugged each other tightly.

Louie closed the door quietly and walked down a row of other doors.

First Day at the mansion. First Visit to Scrooge's Money Bin...

He stopped when he saw the door marked Sky Pirates. He wondered why'd that memory would be in here. It's not like he did anything on that adventure except count money, and get captured by pirates thanks to Dewey.

His curiosity got the better of him and he gripped the doorknob and pushed it open. He watched as the scene in front of him. They were busy helping Dewey fight of Don Kanarge. He noticed Webby sneaking around, trying to confuse him like he and Huey were.

"I'm sweet, and sensitive, and full of secrets..." She was saying loudly.

Louie blinked as he felt a knot form in the pit of his stomach.

Is that how she saw his brother?

Did Webby have feelings for Dewey?

Louie knew Dewey like her, but Louie was pretty sure that he had felt feelings for Webby way before Dewey.

Right?

He blinked as Dewey blew a whistle and the pirates started to sing.

Louie made a sour face and quickly shut the door.

He walked along the row of doors that he hadn't bothered to open for they were recent memories. But he saw a door, completely black, unlike the white doors that had his name on them under the title of that memory, but this one, this one had Luis's name on it.

Louie's heart pounded hard against his chest.

Luis had memories?

How could something Louie made up out of the blue when he was a kid have memories?

Unlike the other doors Louie quickly grabbed the knob from this door and tried to open it. To his dismay, it was locked.

Locked?

The only reason this door would be locked away inside Louie's mind was if Luis was hiding something.

Something he didn't want Louie to know about.

He had to know what was behind that door.

"Webby. RUN!" He heard Luis shout, pulling Louie back to Luis's strong hold. He watched as darkness covered Louie's entire body. He closed his eyes and when he opened them he was standing back in the small opened light again.

He watched out of the hole as Burger was trying to get to Webby.

"LOUIE!" She screamed.

Louie's heart sank.

No matter how much he wanted to unlock that black door of Luis's memory, he had to stay here, make sure Webby was safe.

He felt Luis freeze. Felt him struggle to figure out what to do.

Louie could help with this, could finally control something.

"Save her, you idiot!"  He thought.

Silence then -.

"Took you long enough, Lou-Lou. What happened? Take a little vacation?"

"Just save Webby, or so help me -."  Louie thought back.

Of course; Louie had know idea what'd he do if Luis didn't help Webby. Louie didn't have much power stuck here inside his own mind.

At least, none that he knew of.

"Why should I?"  Luis asked.

Louie watched as Webby was being pulled down fast. Shouting at Louie to help her, while fighting of Burger.

'B,Because I care about her, and, and you care about me."  Louie finally admitted.

"There, now, that wasn't so hard to admit now, was it?"  Luis asked.

Louie knew Luis cared about him. That black locked door proved he did. What Luis did next to save Webby just then; even more so.

No matter what, Louie had to figure out a way to open that door, find out what's keeping him here, and figure out his own feelings for Webby.

This,

May take awhile...

Dewey, however, was slumped against his Uncle's house boat. His arms crossed, and glaring down at the floor.

He needed to talk to Uncle Donald. Donald had suddenly jumped up from the breakfast table and left the room. Dewey hadn't seen him since.

The way he was feeling for Webby and Louie being together was killing him on the inside. Maybe he was jealous, but didn't like to admit it to himself, or to Huey.

Huey.

Leaving him in the middle of all this.

The nerve of him!

He was so afraid of Luis showing up while Huey was gone. Dewey didn't think he could handle Luis all on his own. He had seconds thoughts on getting even with Luis after he pounded on him. Now, all he could to was focus on Webby, and how he was going to handle his feelings towards her now.

Did she actually like Louie?

Or was she just trying to sort out her own feelings towards Dewey by making sure the feelings Louie has for her wouldn't get in the way?

Whatever it was, Dewey needed advice.

The only one he could get that from was his Uncle Donald.

He watched Donald come into view from inside the house boat. He was sweaty, and looked like he had been running from something, or someone.

Dewey knew he had to be careful what he said to Uncle Donald. He didn't want to rise suspicion that Luis was

"Dewey? What's the matter?" Donald asked, seeing the look on his nephew's face. He looked like he was on the verge of tears. Donald watched him blink back the tears and swallow hard before answering him.

"H,Have you ever had a crush on a girl," He began, "but she liked or think she likes someone else instead?" He asked.

Donald blinked then smiled warmly at him.

"I did, once," He replied, as he came over to stand next to him.

"H,How'd you handle it?" He asked.

"I let her choose, but in her own time, in her own way." Uncle Donald said.

"Even if it killed you inside that she was with somebody else, that you were also close too?" Dewey asked.

"Even that." Donald said.

Silence then -.

"It's Webby isn't it?" Donald asked.

Dewey didn't even try to hide it, and nodded.

Donald chuckled softy and ruffled the feathers on top of his head.

"If you two really care about each other, It'll all work out, Dewey." He told him. He started towards the mansion then paused and looked back at him. "You'd tell me if Luis was back, right?" He asked.

Dewey stared at him.

"I, I need to protect him from himself, Dewey." He explained, and waited.

Dewey did the only thing he knew he could at the time. For his sake, and their uncle's.

"Sure, Uncle Donald." He lied, without missing a beat.

Uncle Donald studied him for a moment then turned and walked towards the mansion without another word.

Dewey looked down at the ground.

Choose?

Was he really going to wait around for her to choose one of them?

He winced as the sounds of them moaning up against the closet while they kissed filled his ears. Luis's snide remarks about Webby after he saw him emerge from her room...

He might not be able to do anything about Luis and what he's up too. But, he was sure going to do something about this little love triangle he had gotten himself into.

Dewey wasn't about to give up on him and Webby. Not just yet.

He wasn't going to wait around for her to choose.

Not if he had anything to say about it.
