"We did a few seatworks and nothing more. The whole section is coming over your house! Like right now!"
Akia was so excited about going here. It's Wednesday and I already feel better. I just need to rest for this day and I'm back to school tomorrow.
"Okay. I'll tell my mom that you're coming over." I said and stood up. "Ingat kayo."
"Of course!" She said and hanged up.
I went down and saw my mother at the stool where the telephone is placed.
"Yes, I'm working on it." She wrote down something. "Okay. I'll email it to you as soon as I get in touch with Ms. Williams. Sure. Goodbye."
She looked at me while fixing the tables. "Are you okay? Hungry? Something hurts?" She worriedly asked.
"Hindi po, Mommy..." I sat next to her. "Bibisita po kasi mga kaklase ko."
"I'll order food for them. Come on, rest. I'll take care of it." She smiled and caressed my hair.
She kissed my forehead and started making calls. Bumalik ako sa kwarto ko at nagbihis. I wore my olive green square neckline puff sleeved dress. I partnered my small dress with my plain black round toe ballerina flats. Hindi na ako nag-abala na maglagay ng kung ano ano sa mukha at naghilamos nalang.
Bumaba ulit ako and I saw that the maids are fixing the entertainment room. Hindi ko alam kung bibisitahin ba nila ako dahil nagkasakit ako. Parang pinaghandaan ko pa ang pagdating nila.
I saw my Mom, preparing the food they ordered. Lumapit ako sa kaniya at tinulungan siya.
"Rest, Grace. Kami na ang bahala rito." She smiled at me.
Nginitian ko rin siya at lumabas ng entertainment room. Hindi naman kasya ang section namin sa kwarto ko. My room is not that small, but it's not big. Sakto lang para kumasya ang walk in closet, a bed, a mini sofa, a small reading space and nothing more.
I dialled Akia's number and asked where are they now.
"We're already near. Fifteen lang yata kami. Hindi naman lahat pinayagan. And the other girls who envy you so much, did not come." She snickered.
"Hayaan mo na sila..." I took my bag and went outside my room. "Sige na, I'll wait for all of you here."
"Okay. Mwah!"
Binaba ko sa sofa dito sa entertainment room ang bag ko. I saw Ate, resting her back on the door.
"Hey." I greeted and sat down.
"Are you feeling better now?" She asked and sat beside me. I rested my head on her shoulder.
"Yes." I said, yawning.
I suddenly feel sleepy.
"That's good. Papasok ka na ba bukas?" She slowly caressed my hair.
"3 days na akong hindi pumapasok, so, I really need to go back to class tomorrow." I answered.
"Just don't stress yourself out. Sa sala ka na, doon ka na maghintay." Nakangiting sabi niya.
Tumango naman ako at sabay na kaming lumabas, but she went upstairs. Naupo na lamang ako sa sofa at binuksan ang tv.
After a few minutes, dumating na rin naman sila. I hugged Akia right after she entered the house. Niyakap ko rin si Drich.
